@@DonBebo6Because it’s weird that people who “don’t play” 2k are always under videos chastising the community, when most if not all triple A games have the same exact problem. You guys are either lying about not playing 2k or you have too much time on your hands.
The game stability is awful lately . Any other game would address that alone as a priority.. its also ruins progression significantly i was on the verge of HOF and got lagged out twice in one day once in the park and once in rec..by the end of that day i was back to silver and didnt finish one game. I went in REC yesterday and the imput lag is rediculous got a player w 93 and 99 perimeter defense and was sliding all over the place..even slightest movement to thumbstick made my player fly in that direction...people talk about lag as far a shooting but trying to play defense even will all ur badges maxed i can barely control my player on the court. You hit the imput and something happens a half a second later that in my opinion kills the game for me. Go to gatorade gym and you could be alone at 3am shooting and its still freezing and glitching. Like wtf ??!!!
Totally agree with this statement like how does 2k add all this bullshit to there game like clothes jetpacks and shit but the fundamental mechanics of the game are barley working how they were intended to

My game works every single time I turn it on. Ijs. Sounds like you’re on WiFi instead of hardwired, or the internet you have isn’t up to par. I play rec daily. I don’t have those issues.
Yep just got dropped from purple to brown over the last few days. Basically play a game and then drop from the next. Guarantee the next 2k i buy will be after lebrons retires. 3-4 years.
tbh the core gameplay is in a decent place relative to earlier in the year. The main issues left are the ridiculous variable jumpshot timing, not being able to dunk on pgs sitting under the basket, and the terrible input delay all of which will never be addressed.

So I won unlimited Gatorade and I had it for like three seasons and then the last patch they took my unlimited Gatorade away that I won on the daily on the daily spin. I’m so disappointed in 2K this year. It’s crazy.

Ya just got dropped from my last 3 sessions over the last 3 days. Dropped from purple badge to brown. Done spending any money on 2k and this will be my last 2k for a few years.
They definitely changed shooting, last season my shooting hit an all time low to 30% decided to get back on and timing problems seem to be fixed/changed as I’m back to shooting 55-70% through different game modes
All these other good games out there. I suggest everyone play another game until September

I had been said something bout latency between PS and Xbox. Xbox being 3-5 speed differences
2k is cheating me out 4 floor setters. 2 silvers and 2 golds. I told them about it n they gave me 75k vc. The only way to fix it is to make my player over because 2k can’t fix it. They basically told me “wait for a patch”. Then they come out with this bs patch! To make my player over it feels lik I would need at least 250k vc. I feel lik they robbed me for a fair experience. Idk wtf to do 🤦🏾♂️. After all the money I spent on vc to upgrade my player this is how they do me.

Sorry that has happen to u brother but this is the prime example of why everybody need to leave the game if nobody plays it forces 2k to fix the game 2k way of fix people problem is by telling them to wait for the patch and giving away 50k to 75k vc which does fix anything

I jumped on park after the patch and it definitely felt different. I was playing lock against a tough team and got 5 steals and 3 blocks. I’m good but not that good. Sometimes it looked like the ball lightly brushed past me and fell loose. Next game, another tough one. My pg (92% win) got plucked 5 times. I got 3 steals that game and 2 blocks. He didn’t get blocked but has 94 dunk and kept getting knocked out of his animations despite greening the dunk. I’ve never seen that before for him. Defense buffed????

Yeah, I'm on Playstation and each game I only have Playstation players in the game. I have cross play on, and still haven't seen 1 Xbox player. I must be the new patch

If 2k is applying 30 minute bans for quitting games then that actually hurts them, a gaming company should be doing everything they can to keep players on the game period.......restricting our ability to play just makes us wanna quit and play other games that value our time more and better.
I can’t even change my badges I get error coded and 2k says they can’t tell me what to fix and it’s been like that for months but other builds I can change badges only one build I can’t it’s dumb
I play world of tanks which is like 15 years old and it has little to no lag or latency...never have issues with servers and the devs always patch the because they listen to the community. Also the devs hold community streams on any news or patches about the game . The devs also hold q and a on the streams then we them actually play the game. Now that's how you treat your paying customers

I really wish they'd sort out blocks in this game....my players hand goes through the ball and I had 3 blocks in one game and none of them were registered to my stats.

Y’all ever notice once in a while a player just disappears into a ghost but still is there it’s four players on court instead of 5 but the ball is still moving in players hand u just can’t see him it’s crazy

No. They have moved onto development for 25. I believe they do this around New Year's. Everything they do for 2k until September will be only maintenance, or big issues like lag and cross play, and a couple more "events".
defense has definitely been buffed i was on my lock build and he averaged 4 blocks a game with 5 steals
My jump shot is broken. I was greening with ease and now I can’t hit anything.

Steals feel super busted / overly RNG
Constantly having players dribble the ball / yoyo the ball through my body.
But then, I get hit w reach from far away, as I'm going up and it'd an easy pluck... but when I go for that same reach... foul most times.
Lane steals that will bounce off 2 hands go back to offense. Or your player just won't lock into the ball, animate wrong way both reaching/Lanes.
Also is the 2k22 pump fake 5 times in the paint crap back???

I fortunately have found a way to keep 2k fun by making a pg build and learning a new position. Try that out make a build in your worst spot and learn it. I have been having lots of fun and find the game interesting again. Try this out folks

Honestly the rec play has made me upset. Like me and homie can’t play together unless we playing a full squad. We not leagues players that’s wack to me. Take it back to the old one where there is not squads lobby. It was cool that way. Now I always get an ai as the 5th
AI better than 90% of the randoms tho lol... And definitely cant shoot better than most randoms.

I just got it yesterday for 11 bucks, it's probably going to be the last NBA 2k I'll ever buy. I immediately noticed how bad the gameplay is coming from 2k23. I thought I was just rusty as I haven't played 2k23 for 6 months now, but when I played 2k23, I got back to it easily.. 2k24 is a struggle.. also, I have lost interest in the NBA now, the lack of competitiveness and defense just made it dead to me.. I just bought 2k24 to play updated classic teams that's it.
I don’t know how but they patched the game and it broke shooting for me and its pissing me off
When you mentioned that you are able to collect VC from old a new gen… 2K went out of their way to ensure we couldn’t do that anymore very quickly. So yes they understand and hear everything we feel is wrong or right with the game. If something is wrong with gameplay/servers and they decided not to address it, that’s because 2K wants the game like that. They know what they’re doing!

Have not played 2k in almost 2 months
People say shooting bad is a skill issue but i was hitting 3/4 with a 37 3pt from the corner in 22... i shot lights out in 2k20 with a 67 3pt in 2k23 i was consistently hitting hop jumpers in the corner with a 7'3 center ... This year i shoot like 💩 40-60% with a 80 3pt is mid af especially when you been know to splash with a 37 3pt in previous 2k's its not skill .. it is the design of the game unless you have a 85+ 3pt rating the game doesnt want you to shoot consistently
I play on Xbox series X...and my 2k keeps crashing right after I made a new build and got him to 93 ova all I can't play my nba season games cool I just played the city and rec a day later now it crash again load back up log in my player now all my tats cool back out go to my 99 ova all load up naw all his tats gone un-installed the game load back in the game crash as soon as I run out the subway and been the same ever since....

Gameplay has gone down deliberately. I went from double-digit blocks to the AI fouling the CPU right before I get a clean block... or in TT where I don't press a button at all, yet my player intentionally wraps up the driver. Take Two is finding new ways daily to frustrate players into a gambling addiction, which is a lose-lose scenario because there are no abilities to actually "cash out" virtual cards.
Dope dealer tactics: 2k HAD a great product but got greedy, started cutting into the quality of gameplay, content and rewards but raised prices, then have the audacity to question why your customers started spending elsewhere after the blatant disrespect WHILE having their hands out for us to continue doing business with them. A way to make a quick buck for a lil while but ridiculously poor business model for the long term. They're going to pay for their predatory ways.
Spending money elsewhere? There’s no other basketball game…they are the only option.
@smokenojoke8182 since 2019, I've spent less and less money on microtransactions. I'm on XBox, and first year, I'm not even paying for the pass to play online. I bought the game on NYE for $24.99 and got all those holiday locker codes because of no auction house. The game has become too repetitive and less rewarding while asking for both more of consumers' money and time.
The sad part is yall stay faithful to 2k that’s why they don’t care,yall gonna keep buying the game an vc 2k an cod don’t care cause the communities ain’t doing anything to stand against them!!!!
