I like the backstory you gave her, it’s so interesting! And tbh, I can’t imagine Icy with anyone romantically, so I thought it might be interesting to make her aromantic and focus on the friendships she gains with Darcy and Stormy, how those might heal some of her past wounds and how friendships can be just as fulfilling and supporting as a romantic relationship
I love the idea of putting a big focus on friendship healing past wounds for all three trix, but making them a much more dangerous enemy in the process haha also personally I think she's capable of feeling romantic attraction, she's just really bad at it and hides that under her cold demeanor
I like to read Icy as asexual with a hint of sociopath. She's not interested in relationships because, in her mind, SHE'S the only one worth investing time in, and everyone else is just a pawn to be used, and that includes the other trix, as well as the villains she ends up working for. I like to imagine Icy as sort of a sleeper main villain, where you only ever see her and the Trix being each season's lackey, but behind the scenes, she's actually taking a bit of their power to make herself stronger, and the biggest bad the Winx has to face is the one they've been looking at since the very beginning. It would be a really cool way to incorperate the "super Trix" into the plot.
I am in love with how much care you put into her story rewrite and design. There is so much depth to her here, and I am digging how you used Azula's character design elements for Icy. Showing how intimidating she is even with a pastal color pallet is such a good choice, and I love how fierce she looks in her witch form. You nailed this, keep up the great work 💙

Also love the backstory, it kind of makes me wish for her to just burn down the world with fire the burns cold for all the pain and anger she carries.... like in a moment where she, almost like Azula, just lets it all go. shes tired of the facade, tired of the pain and sadness and shes done, done with it all, to hell with it. hehe

with icy as in respect to the original show icy would be shipped with tritanus Aisha's cousin like he wouldn't be evil yet but he would date icy for like a while and he would have a similar experience where nereids go's missing and they blame tritanus because he was the only one without a explanation where he was and like his punishment until proven innocent he would be forced out of the ocean and take a human or whatever the specialists are and live in magix or somewhere and he meets icy at a party stormy dragged her to somthing like that #tricy
Amazing once again! I think Icy should stay single, she's too emotionally closed off for any of that. I dont think she likes being vulnerable and sees it more like a useless distraction

I do everything in clip studio paint! it rlly is a great program and it has great sales pretty often, but if you want a free alternative I highly suggest krita! I did a lot of animating in that program in college too! (also I used to edit in after effects but now I'm moving on to davinci resolve)
