Ilkley has an amazing nightlife with a large variety of venues, pubs, bars and restaurants. There’s over 25 fantastic restaurants in Ilkley, most of them independent and there’s a great choice to suit all tastes. We have Italian, Indian, Mediterranean, Thai, French, Portuguese. We have La Casita for Spanish Tapas but we also have Brooks which serve Asian inspired Tapas and then we have the award winning Host restaurant which serves seasonal British food and its so good it’s earned a place in the Michellin Guide as has the Boxtree over on Church Street.
Then we have the delightful Galo’s Kitchen who’ve just won an Ilkley Business Award, we have Emporio Italia serving authentic Italian food that everyone loves here in Ilkley. We’ve got the Vine, another Italian restaurant serving delicious calamari, pizza, steak, pasta & risotto.
If you want a night out there’s plenty of bars and pubs in Ilkley. We have the Gin Lounge that serves every kind of gin you can think of, we have The Ticket Office for cocktails. If you want craft ales and beers we have Bar T’at who also serve delicious food, there’s The Flying Duck with its own brewery and live bands playing most weeks and there’s a great little tap house and bottle shop on Leeds Road - Fuggle and Golding. Friends of Ham has an amazing wine list, a fabulous selection of Craft ales and beer with great olives and socialable sharing boards. Most places are independently owned and have great atmospheres and service but we also have a Weatherspoons, a Banyan and a Pizza Express which are great for a night out with friends and groups but if you want something a bit more intimate then head over to Martinez Wine Bar. You are spoilt for choice and they have a buskers night on the 2nd Thursday of the month with great musical talent.
Your night out in Ilkley could be drinks around the town with your friends or as a couple. The Kings Hall Theatre and The Ilkley Playhouse have shows on nearly every week from theatre productions, to touring musicians, tribute bands, panto, comedy shows - the venues are booked up all year round for evening entertainment so you can come in, have a drink, catch a show go a for a meal!
