Now this song is the most like the classic 70's Boston. It flows with no "I love yous" and synthesizer disruptions. Just a good time song, like the ones on "Don't Look Back".
I heard this song for the first time when I bought the Greatest Hits the other day. I was taking a road trip, and I love Boston, so I wanted some good driving music. I believe this was the only song on the album I hadn't heard. It was song #1, and probably THE BEST road trip song EVER!!!!!! My new favorite song!!!!
If I could go back in time I would tell Tom Scholz to make "Third Stage" the last of a trilogy and re-name it "Home At Last" using the same artwork as "Walk On" with the following songs in order: 1. We're Ready 2. The Launch/Cool The Engines 3. Amanda 4. Walkin' at Night/Walk On 5. I Think I Like It 6. Hollyann 7. I Had A Good Time 8. We Can Make It This would had made the Boston albums a trilogy with "Boston" being the beginning of the journey with the exploding Earth, "Don't Look Back" searching for a home, and "Home At Last" ending the journey with the finding of a new home world.
Boston IS ALWAYS Boston...Since "More Than a Feeling"...And that's what so wonderful about the band...Tom Scholz is dedicated to making music instead of getting sucked into the Rock-Stardom-Lifestyle...and he deserves a lot of respect!!!
I've just started re-listneing to Boston. Now that I'm older the music seems 10x better than years ago. I don't think I've considered 1 song from their albums "bad". I recently saw them live and DAMN! what a show! Nothing wowing about the visuals, but the music was spot on. I just wish this song was available on something other than the remastered greatest hits! I would forkout the cash for this song to if it meant buying another greatest hits just for this song.
THANK YOU for posting this song; I can't find it on iTunes. I so enjoy listening to this. Missing Brad Delp's beautiful, soaring pice. May his troubled soul rest ...
esta cancion deberia ser mas famosa, es un temazo, deberia ser considerada como un himno del rock, y no, no exagero, un encanto escuchar esta caconnncannioooooooooooooocancionnnnnn
this shouldn't be, but this is my favorite boston song, and my favorite of all thyme for nostalgia, listening to this and feeling like shit about my ex-girlfriend. ah eighth grade
The Greatest Hits came out in the late 90s and Corporate America came out early 00s. I think there are some tracks I'd take off that Greatest Hits in favor of newer songs....
The spoken part in the middle by Brad Delp has possibly the best guitar riff I have ever heard!!! RIP Brad. Rock on Tom Scholz.

Why this aint on ITunes
Thanks to all!
This album is so hard to find..... my copy got stolen out of my truck.
ROCK...
Why isn't this song available on iTunes? I want it!
It's alright, yeah yeah yeah... ;)
Thanx... maybe I'll check it out. How pricey?
Coz they were from space .......ohhh shittt!!!
Is that the same one I bought ,with that David Sikes crap,"Higher Power" on it ?? Iwas Pissed Too!!
Higher Power and Tell Me are great songs, no matter if they have David Sikes on them or not. Higher Power especially is some of Boston's best work.
Did ya ozzy...ah ha.
If you want this song get Greatest Hits....Other than this song I am not a huge fan of Corporate America
"Wanna do it again?"
I think not...
SON OF A BITCH. I BOUGHT THE GREATEST HITS AND IT HAS SUCH CRAP AS "TELL ME" INSTEAD OF THIS MASTERPIECE???

That sucks.
Yeah... not their best album... That's why I'm not in a big hurry to start the search for it.
Wow!!!! This album wasn't THAT good..... Thanx for getting back to me...
Glad I got a chance to meet Brad on his 2004 tour. Man, I was struck down when I heard about his passing. Music will live forever!
