Geht mir so ähnlich, das Stück ist einfach traumhaft. Colby Sixx gehört zu den Leuten, bei denen man nicht vom Aussehen auf die Musik schließen kann - oder umgekehrt. Der Anfang von "Orphans Of The Smog" ließ üble Befürchtungen in Richtung Hip-Hop aufkommen, aber solche Musik kommt von Death Of Lovers nicht. "Allegiance" von lovespells sah anfänglich sehr nach Hype aus, aber Gloria de Oliveira hat eine Menge Talent und eine schöne Stimme.

If you think the image in this video is fantasy let me tell you: I've witnessed it. I don't know exactly why it happened or what it ment. I was on Norway, alone, going thru those marvelous forests, with water cascades everywhere, beautiful sights... Absolute silence and quietness. Perfect for meditation and relaxation. This was in Bergen, I think in 2002. A nice fog was covering things. I felt in touch with Nature and one with the whole Universe. I wasn't on drugs. When I returned to the home I was staying (I had an entire little home just for me in the mountains, from a partner of my father on work. That family was on vacation and my father was working on a cruise ship on the fiordes.) When I was in the kitchen which was on the basement but had a very big glass window on which you could see the sky because you had to look up, I looked and got paralyzed because what I was seeing was exactly this. A tunnel of clouds, huge tunnel, I felt it was calling me... On its center there was this piece of very bright light that I couldn't say if it was the sun or the sky... I stood there for 5 minutes. I felt I was having an acid trip, but a really good one. Here comes the crazy part: I heard a voice: "The time for you to choose is now. Either you choose to join us, or you remain there on Earth." I thought to myself: "I'm going crazy (again)." Then other voice said: we know you still have much to do on Earth but you have earned your right to come to Heaven. We have been watching you since you were born. You have qualified to enter heaven."
I must say I really wanted to go "up there", but some kind of force was keeping me from going... I felt that the Earths gravity was struggling really hard to keep me down here. And I remembered my mother, and something told me I had to stay because she would be needing my help in the future.. And here I am... that future has come and I am helping my mother on the best I can do because she is all alone and has no one to look after her... I'm living a hard life and sometimes regret not having accepted the invite...
(this is just a story... I made most of this up, but this is how my mind interprets that event, because the part of seeing the clouds like that is true, everything is true except for the part of the voices, this was just what my imagination came up with to give a personal meaning to that experience)
