I’ve gotta get buttonbush. I raise promethea, cecropia, Polyphemus and Luna’s every year and release the adults in spring.(100 promethea and 50 cecropia) cocoons on my front porch right now overwintering in screen cages!😁
This channel focuses on the eastern half of the US as the plant communities are somewhat similar from the Mississippi River Valley east to the coast. Once you get west of there things vary a bunch due to elevation and rainfall differences. It would take several channels to cover the western US well.

You will love buttonbush! It is a pollinator magnet - just about every type of pollinator is attracted to it.
