People REALLY sleep on the songs streets and shine like... tbh those are my favorite two tracks on the entire project. Say so is obviously really good but streets hits on a different level for me.The vulnerability, the bars and the production are unmatched. I'm really suprised she didnt like more of the album. I think Ajay is more of a pop music person because if you really listen to doja you appreciate how versatile and just different she is. This is one of those albums that you listen to from start to finish and don't get bored. She brings something different to every track and the flow is just incredible from singing to rapping. I know I'm late to the party, but I just recently began listening to Doja Cat and listened to this entire album. It's a masterpiece. Seven of the twelve tracks are legitimate hit singles, and the other five aren't very far behind. Hot Pink is in rarefied air, up there with all-time great pop/R&B albums like Thriller. Doja Cat is a phenomenal singing/song writing/performing talent, on the same level as Michael Jackson. And I don't believe that is an exaggeration.

For me, Hot Pink is totally a grower. I’ve been a fan since her first album and when I first listened to Hot Pink, it didn’t live up to my expectations after hearing her debut album. But after listening a few times it’s much better than her first one. Maybe you should give it a shot, it’s called Amala, listen to the deluxe version if you do.

Girl, u need to listen to juicy without Tyga featuring, bc her verse was cut, and it's the best part of the song...It's so clever! I think Hot Pink will grow on u, but u'll like Amala better ( it's more r&b & the lyrics is not as repetative, as she seems to emulate what Cardi & Nicki are writingas apposed to clever puns ( not saying Nicki can't...) ur energy was a bit off, and I got the feeling that u were biased here, although I dont know what that is abt! Nicki doesn’t have that HUNGER anymore. It’s easy to tell. I feel Nicki takes a more subtle approach to her nuances now. But Doja emulates a lot of that early-mid Nicki energy when Nicki wanted to highlight just how creative she could be while still spitting bars. I genuinely hope Doja’s popularity makes Nicki want to play with her lyrics more.

It's simple. I don't listen to the radio. I always have my headphones on and i'm either listening to a podcast or albums/songs I thoroughly love when I'm out and about.
