    My thought on jealousy....I have always had jealousy issues. I am married to a man and as of recently my husband and I married a woman. Currently he is visiting her alone in California where she is from. He is having all the first time experiences with her and I have been dealing with being alone back at home. I wish I was there with them. I feel so left out but part of this is my Karma. It just hurts is all. I gotta suck it up and bear it but I really wish I could just be with them. I have been with my husband for 18 years and we just married our wife this June 23rd. So it's all so new still ....🙏

    I would like to make a distinction between jealousy and envy. I have never experienced being jealous and I have felt envy over time management. Envy, for me, is not an upset. It's more of a delicious feeling akin to having a crush. My Sweetie being sexual or affectionate with someone else feels like a gift to me about the strength of our relationship. This might all come from being poly my whole life. When I was aged 6-11, my small circle of neighborhood friends were very loving and affectionate. Our favorite game was Play Doctor. My mother was poly, too. It just seemed that life should be this way. Then at 11 or 12, Stranger in a Strange Land was published. It was clear to me that I would never limit myself to loving one person nor would I be with someone who wanted to be sexual and emotional exclusive.

    @incredible life, my question is why was it a problem if Rob & Elise would’ve devoloped a relationship? To me that seems ideal, beneficial, natural and fair.

    If any of you practice polyamory again, how would you ensure that the next go of it is more ethical and equal? A hinge in a V fearing that their partners might also experience active polyamory together makes me uncomfortable. I get the feel that against the backdrop of the greater relationship narrative, Rob was fine to also practice poly. Was Elyse, at this time? Was the idea of Rob practicing poly comfortable because he stopped being sexually and emotionally relevant over time?

    92% of open relationships fail becouse on person in the relationship doesn't want it to work and usually it is a one sided just like the girlfriend and the wife had no intention of making this work it was away to him time to get over it and not make her look a bad person .Both the wife and girl friend should be ashamed to do this to this poor guy.

    I think it’s really disrespectful to Rob that the two women are so flirty or touchy in front of Rob. This is his ex-wife sitting with the women she left him for. I also think it’s disrespectful and a little mean the way they make sure he knows that they aren’t attracted to him. I get that they aren’t but it’s a little on the mean side to say it over and over again. It’s almost as if the girl on the right wants to make sure that Rob knows that she’s the partner now and Rob isn’t. I really think Rob needs to find other places to hang out than with these two. If I have this completely wrong then I’ll have to own up to it but these are my feelings watching these videos. Not just this one but all of them.

    • @AstralArtist
      @AstralArtist Před 5 lety

      cool hand she isn't his ex wife. They are in a polyamorous relationship. She didn't leave him for her. They are still together. You seem to have misunderstood the core of what they were explaining and what their channel is about. They aren't competing with each other or stealing anyone away from the other person. The whole point of a poly relationship is that you can be with multiple partners. And Rob clearly states that he isn't jealous or concerned about his wife being with the other women. It was a mutual decision they made to open up their marriage

    • @coolhand4585
      @coolhand4585 Před 5 lety +3

      Astral Artist, I sorry to disagree but these two are divorced. Robs new girlfriend has proposed to him and Lauren has proposed to her girlfriend. They have other videos as well detailing things like cops renting and divorce. Take a look at their library. I still say this isn’t really about polyamory. Both are monogamous just with new people. This is a marriage that failed.

    • @AstralArtist
      @AstralArtist Před 5 lety

      @@coolhand4585 I haven't seen the other videos so maybe they did divorce but as far as I understand, that's not the case in this video. I mean polyamory isnt for everyone but it seems like they used good methods to try to make it work

    Honestly that’s selfish though on your part , if Rob and her did start having feelings and then became intimate with each other then it would have only been exactly equal at that part , especially after what you did to him and how you only would have been okay if it was a one way street for your selfishness

    #RedShirtGlowingSmileBeautifulSpirit You mentioned being diagnosed bipolar, the same thing that has been ravaging my life since day 1. I am Transgender (mtf) lesbian, and Poly and yes bipolar. I've recently (since Jan 2019) finally begun to own my mental health issues and the behaviors and damage that causes in my life. My question is how do you personally make polyamory work in spite of your mental health challenges?

    Instantly lost me at rule of thumb. Please stop using this term. This is an old phrase that men used to know if a stick was too wide to strike your wife with. The fact that we still say "rule of thumb" to this day is another example of how we are not fully aware of the origin of the phrases we use. I think this is my only pet peeve, but it's a rational one.

    For me this matter is alarming/threatening to the american guys. It my concern, more american women have engaging with same sex relationships or wife leaving husband for a woman than men to men relationships.
    American women has less moral value and decency than american guy. To counter this same sex relationships must prohibited in this country. Cause immorality in the US are so high. Cause they always follow their wants and lust of flesh than having a decent and normal life.
