  • My first video on the Satajet 5000B with an 1.2 RP tip set although I've had it around 7 months after picking it up on ebay for £270 which is around $380 USD, I'm really enjoying using these big Sata's although i still can't see they are worth the money but they do give excellent effort free results, hope you enjoy the video

    If you want a less expensive gun, buy a iwata kwami 4 it's in the $200 range and sprays awesome; both base and clear with the same nozzle/tip set up to spray both. I blended color and clear into the bed of a 1g3 Tundra yesterday and it came out amazing. It was about a 2 foot high by about 2 foot wide blend.

    Hey Pete, wow mate you got a right good deal with that gun and it looks very clean 👍 as is usual from you the finish on the tank is spot on mate very nice gloss from that clear, just goes to show that it's not always the high end clears that gives the best finish 👏👌

      Hi John, yes, it was a great price, i spend a lot of time on Ebay searches, putting in different key words as some people just don't describe things properly, for example this was described as " Sata spray gun" and that's it, you could see from the photos it has hardly been used, particularly the areas around the inlet and the glass of the gauge, it had a 1.3 hvlp setup but i got a hardly used RP tip set for £60 on auction so was quite happy. It lovely to use, they really are effortlessly but most of the high end gun's are i think, cheers mate 👍

      Yes, they are very similar in pricing to the other high end mini guns, in the UK they are not the most expensive, that little trophy goes to the DV1S now followed closely by the Sagola Mini Xtreme and the Iwata W300 WB, i was talking to a chap a few weeks ago, he was after some advice on mini gun's and he was in Germany and he was saying the Sata Minijet is actually at the cheaper end compared to some over there, must be a bit like Sagola be much cheaper in Spain, so what i really want to know now is why Devilbiss is so expensive in the UK😭😭😭, take care Roger 👍

      @peteshobbies5383  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi Fernando, that's a really difficult question to answer and i don't think i can pick just one, i could give you a top 4 but can't really split them, it would be the Sagola 4600 Xtreme in 1.3 Xl with the DVR Clear cap, the Sata 5000B RP 1.2, Sata 5500 RP 1.2 "O" cap and the Devilbiss DV1 1.3 with the C2 cap, of the four the Sagola is the cheapest so maybe that should be the winner?

      @peteshobbies5383  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Jeremy, I like them both, they are really good guns and a joy to use, the real negative is the price, the 5500x is a little quieter, a little slower and generally a little more refined, the 5000 is a bit if a canon, perfectly controlled though, along with the Sagola Xtreme 4600 and Walcom 360 lite Carbonio, these Sata's really put a smile on my face.
