Doris has the most soothing, wonderful voice. I’d listen to her talk about anything.
I know it won’t happen but I think her voice is perfect for audio books that I have to use. I could listen to her for hours.
ASMR - worth!
This upload is a knockout!!!!!!!! LOVE LOVE the Oscar de la Renta 2pc evening ensemble!!!
Please do a video on Norma Kamali! She is so important and an often unsung hero of fashion.
This is just what I needed today, I could listen to Doris talk about clothes all day.
Thank you sharing you knowledge and love for clothing. I'd love ti visit your store when in LA
Me too
I agree with Patrick Cordova's comment, you have the most calming, serene voice. As for your beautiful pieces, my favorite is your 60's gold bullion embroidered gown, if only there was an occasion to wear it. Thank you for bringing sparkle into our lives.
Wonderful .. I would love to spend most of the 5 on appraisals by Doris!
Congratulations Doris on nearing 50,000 subscribers!
I really enjoyed all of the clothing you shared in this video! I remember being in love with Jessica McClintock in the 80's!
If I were to win my interests would be Western Wear and Native American style jewelry!
I love Nudie Style Blouses/Jackets and Squash Blossom Necklaces.
I adore that era so very much!
Thank you for offering such a lovely gift!
XoCammie✨🌹💛🐩💛🌹✨
What a timely episode. I applaud you for bringing such beautiful fashion history to such a wide audience. The pieces deserve to be seen. If I were to win the draw, I would purchase a hat! I established a mobile millinery museum 21 years ago and continue to add special pieces to the collection which (until Covid) I share through museum installations and presentations to nursing homes, retirement residences and charitable groups. Keep up the good work, Doris.
Hi Doris, Wonderful show again, such fabulous fashion pieces, I love the beautiful Boho Dresses from the 70s ,but anything lacy really does it for me. Thanks for another beautiful show, Stay safe and well. 💙👍🙏
So enjoyable learning about historical clothing and period costumes ... artistic license ... thank you 🙏
I love the Grecian style dress in this video. I agree it that it would make a beautiful and more unique wedding dress!
Oh my god I am speechless at the deliciousness of the gowns you showed! I loved the Dior with the flowers at the top but so many were to my liking this time! I do love empire style gowns! Usually in a video I have a favorite or two but today there were sooo many to covet! Lovely video!
SO DO I!!!!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this episode, I love the necklace and the one dress.
Thanks Karen.
Doris
Dearest Doris! ❤️❤️❤️ You are so humble and self-deprecating... but you truly are an “icon” to many of us who subscribe to your channel... we LOVE to know what you are wearing and why it moves you. Please don’t be afraid to share more about yourself and your clothing. Best wishes❣️❣️
Love the movie theme! If you have screen used props then I would love if you could do an episode on that. You guys did a great job on this episode! Doris, it's nice to see you wearing color. I know that you like black but you should keep the color because you are a beautiful woman and you make that purple freaking amazing! Doris, guess what I found hidden inside a painting that I purchased at an auction. An original 1907 Friend Brothers Clothing Company advertising hardboard sign. Love the dress that you said that you could see yourself getting married in! Madagascar is where I would like to marry someone someday. I would have penguins and lemurs for the wedding party. Love you and your staff! Keep up the amazing work!
The Carolina Herrera, Dior Couture and Oscar dela Renta dresses are 😍. The blue jacquard, purple 60's maxi and Jean Louis dresses are sooo Mrs. Featherington's alley. Another great video.
Dear Doris , If I won the gift card would get the yellow chiffon gown and the 60s beach pajama they are to die for and just my size. Your channel has taught me so much about so many wonderful designers and a great deal about how clothing is constructed. So grateful you share your knowledge with the public on this channel!
OMG, that 60's Bullion Brocade Gown with amber gems is screaming my name! If I had a chance, that or something like it would come home with me. Gorgeous, as usual! Thanks Doris!
OMG Doris GORGEOUS ALL are pieces of art!!!!!!!!!I LOVE THEM ALL will check them soon, thank U AGAIN AND AGAIN Doris I LOVE my pieces and more to come!

I like hearing about the clothes you’re wearing. Although you don’t like the spot light I still enjoy hearing what rocks your boat in personal fashion.
I am addicted to this show...n even though I’m late to the party, if I won, I’d like to spend a day making my daughter (00p) try on all these gorgeous clothes n live vicariously through her 😝
I love these videos - cannot tell you how much they help now we're in our 3rd lockdown in the UK. Love looking at beautiful things with a history behind them!
And oh my gosh...that Oscar de la Renta dress is EVERYTHING!!! I’m in love.
Doris, thank you for sharing your expertise, that is generous of you!
I love the Carolina Herrera ball gown. I often fantasize that my acting career took off and I wear dresses from your store exclusively on the red carpet. You and I have the same last name so I also wonder if we are distantly related. That would be amazing. Anyway, I love your store and I love what you do! Keep being you!! And thank you for all the joy you bring 😊
Dear Doris,
Greetings from Honduras, Central America! Watching your videos during the pandemic has taught me so much and I feel blessed to be able to share your love for true craftsmanship in fashion. Thank you for all the time you invest preparing these videos! Un abrazo.
I want that blue jacquard gown 🤤 it is so beautiful!
Enjoyed the beautiful gowns/dresses, so much. 😘
You have an amazing collection.
Look forward to your next video to see who (or what period) you showcase. ❤️
Wow what lovely lovely pieces. My favorite was the royal blue jacquard with the beads on the bodice 🤤. So elegant. Your videos are to me the same as watching happy animals on CZcams -lol!!. Such joy and love and fun. It makes me happy and It’s a great escape to see such thrilling things and imagine wearing them. Wishing you all happiness!
If I was too win the $500.00 gift certificate. I would purchase the purple and gold Renaissance bohemian long dress, it fabulous. Can't wait to come visit you and your store. Thanks for all the wonderful information.
Love watching this show 💖
The OSCAR DE LA RENTA dress is absolutely beautiful 😍
I CAN'T WAIT TO VISIT THE STORE AFTER ALL THIS IS BEHIND US! THANK YOU DORIS!
ME22222222222222!!!!!!!
Such beautiful dresses, including the one you are wearing! I would marry in any of those gowns!
Oh Doris you're such a talented and beautiful fashion collector. I love your taste and hearing what you wear too. If I were to win the giveaway I would look for a nice birthday dress for myself! all the best to you and good luck to everyone!
I would love to see you do a decades series 40s-50s-60s-70s. So we can get insight into what we can buy as well as your fabulous history lessons which we all are here for ! Love you Doris
YESSS totally agree!!!!!!!and I am a huge fan of her as well as a decent customer ....cant stop it, its art...to me with great passion
When I was a child, I was given an A-line empire dress from Hong Kong, with curly lace fit in the centre. It’s a dress I cant forget n wish I’d kept it to this day. Being petite, it feels wonderful when s/thing fits perfectly. ...When u see the care n beauty of how much work was put into a beautifully made garment, and c how it’s constructed, I’m in awe. They r works of art like beautiful jewelry. Sadly fabric doesn’t hold the test of time.
Bridgerton isn't my cup of tea, but I immediately click on any video The Way We Wore posts! Love, love, love.
Mine either, it looks all so fake with actrices waering 1970 make up anf garish clothes that don’t suit the period! Long live English historical dramas and series!
Thank you for another great episode. I always enjoy learning something new from you.
Doris is THE BEST, isn't she??? 🥰
Thank you so much for doing this! I watch your videos religiously.👗👘👛 It would be a dream to experience all the beautiful peices at the way we wore! To have a piece of my own would be a dream.
My favorites on your website currently are:
IRENE 50S RED AND BLACK TOREADOR COCKTAIL HAT
50S DRESS VA VA VOOM PLEATED STRAPLESS CHIFFON COCKTAIL DRESS
50'S BLACK & WHITE GINGHAM DRESS

These are the dresses I really love.
Love these film/tv wardrobe inspo videos!! You are so sweet to not want the attention on you, Doris, but LOVE hearing what you’re wearing!! 💕 I live on thé freezing cold Canadian prairies and would buy a summery dress from the store as a reminder of warmer and brighter days to come ☀️💕
I'm officially obsessed with the pink brocade dress with the side slits
Yes! It's stunning! 💗💗💗💗💗
Oh my god, I don't even like pink, but that pink dress with the mandarin collar is to die for!!!!!!
Another amazing episode! I love the fashion in Bridgerton and cannot wait to see how fashion brands now will try to incorporate regency style into the current market! If I were to win the $500 gift card, I would probably have to go for a 60's or 70's fashion item. Right now, I am loving the vintage Pucci coat dress and the Keyloun jumpsuit! Wishing you and the way we wore team all the best!!
Hi Doris and TWWW team,
Thank you for making such an informative video and taking the time to share your passion for vintage.
I too share this passion and am very much intrigued by the sociological and psychological aspect of it - I just love how clothes can tell a story about the person who wore them and also what was going on in the world at that time.
If I were to win the voucher I would purchase a fabulous vintage engagement dress and of course the accessories to match!
Thank you for running this giveaway and good luck to all who enter! Stay safe!
xx Love and light,
Michelle
I would LOVE that beautiful 60’s lamé gown! The iridescent fabric just speaks to me. Also I love the beautiful and sparkly jewelry pieces you have. I’ve been watching since LA Frock Stars!
Thanks for your enjoyable ,knowledgeable show.❤️🇦🇺
There is a 70s Blue Shearling Jacket that I would love to add to my wardrobe. Thank you so much for creating these videos. I’m always exited to see what Doris has to show. I would love to see a few episodes on menswear.
Hello Doris. I love your dress. Looks like Indian tribal dress. Purple is the color of the year. Thanks
Hi Hola Doris and TWWW family, I want to share a memory of being in your store. I visited once in 2014. I didn’t have much money and I didn’t get to buy the gorgeous gold Vivienne Westwood dress 👗 you let me try on! Some one said Dita Von Teese tried it on and the piece came with a bolero too. I was so nervous trying it on but everyone was so kind and genuinely gracious, complimented me so much it was hard to put it back on the rack. No one in your shop ever made me feel bad that I couldn’t afford it. I felt very good just meeting everyone and being at your store, and it’s so close to my sister’s place too! I’m in SF, but someday when this frightful pandemic is over, I’m going to jump in my MINI and drive from SF and visit your store again and I won’t leave without a treasure. With my booty, I need to try things on! I can afford nicer things now, but really I’m just so glad you’re still around. I was so heartbroken that the store was broken into but Doris handled that with such class and courage. Anyway, I’ve learned so much from you all so thank you. Someday I’ll have a historical piece of fashion from your shop. Can’t wait. Thank you for all you do especially during this time. Stay safe! 💖🙏🏽p.s . Never thought I would covet gunne sax (went to that outlet so many times in SF back in grade school) now in my late 40’s and it’s all your fault 😂 Catalina
If I was lucky enough to win the gift certificate I would choose any mid-century lucite purse. Can never have enough of them!!
When safe to do so, I hope to take a road trip to visit your store. I can only imagine the assortment of beautiful accessories ... chokers, hats and more ... you must have!
Wee! You off to Bridgerton too. The grand kicks! I am a bag lady and anything Southwest. I would rather return the funds for a peek at the design room for 8 hours for search and sketching pencil only. Ahhhh! The dream! Plus I'll bring five beauties that need a second life. They are from 1958 - 1980 Two are true designer tagged. These are my era's 1799-1810, the next 1968- 1973, and the 1990's reboot.
Loved seeing the 60’s empire gowns. I graduated from high school in 1967 and wore an empire waist gown to my prom - this really took me back!
Thank you for another fabu and informative episode. Keep up the great work
I would spend the $500 on jewelry!! Thanks for the videos. Always great to watch
I’m obsessed with the Zac Posen summer dress or the Scaasi jacket or the Pucci coat or the Valentino cuff or the Comme des Garcons wrap skirt or...! I love this channel. Thank you for sharing the beauty😍.
My friend and I would visit San Francisco when we were 16/17/18 and visit all the thrift shops and buy every Gunne Sax dress we could afford back in the late 90’s. If we only knew how much they’d be worth now!!! We wore them just for fun!
Congrats on 50,000! Thank you for all your lovely videos and for doing a giveaway for us. I would put the winnings towards the Christian Lacroix 90s black and gold sunglasses.
Oh that Malcolm Start dress - I’m swooning.
Nice episode Miss Doris. I love how you choose dresses that are still wearable in the red carpet. If I won the gift card hope you have a bag that are for men or unisex is fine also. Looking forward to your next vlog.
Loved looking through your online store! If I won the $500 I'd get the BONNIE BOERER 80S BLACK VELVET SEQUIN FANTASY TOP ! I love reading all the old Hollywood night life stories and it's put on that top in such a whimsical way!
I used to work for Hyatt and we had an Awards Banquet ever June and I always wore Jessica, Scott McClintock & Gunne Sax!! Boy I wish I would have kept them. I had a Royal Blue Satin Strapless with 4 Ruffle Layers mid calf length. I Boy did I look Gorgeous in it! I
I'd love to learn about Jacques Doucet and his play on light.
Hi Doris I just want to thank you for all the amazing content you’ve been putting out. I love how you said that you appreciate the craftsmanship of the dressmakers and you can feel the articles of clothing having souls. I myself gravitate towards those, not just in clothes but also things I decorate my home. Some day I want to visit your beautiful store and have a chat with you and tell me about the clothes from your travels and stories behind them. I remember from one of your videos you mentioned about your father’s collection from his travel business trip! I’m gonna go find that video again! Cheers
Doris, Always brighten my week! With the $500, if I was fortunate enough to win it, I would buy something wonderful! Thank you for your effort on our behalf each week.
Thank you Doris!
i am a huge fan of this show .... As a theater geek and a budding jewelry who lived in the costume room, during college and thrifts shops, i am so fascinated with you show.. I love the girth of knowledge and energy you put into the show and your collection.. I would love to come visit in the future . If i won the contest i would definitely spend the gift certificate on scarves and the costume jewelry you have in your shop. My favorite guilty pleasure.. I love a statement jewelry piece
This video was so much fun to watch, truly made my day! If I had to purchase anything from the store it would without a doubt be statement jewellery.
Love all these videos. It’s the personal aspect I really enjoy plus learning so much about ppl I’m afraid I either don’t know or don’t know enough about. I would love to see Doris Raymond in discussions with Hamish Bowles.
Thank for showing the beautiful handcrafted Indian dress you were wearing. Stunning! I can't wait til we can travel again. I would love a piece of Taxco
Love that shocking pink Ralph Rucci. For me, though, I would get the Giorgio Armani resin necklace and the Christian Lacroix green clip on earrings (having a jewelry moment). Thank you for all the many insightful, inspiring videos!
Thank you again Doris for sharing your knowledge with us . I have been watching you since your show on the Smithsonian Channel. When my friend Karen and I would come home from separate thrift/vintage shopping trips we would always have our own “dog and pony” shows!🤣 I would love to win your giveaway and if so I would have to purchase something in the designer category. I J’adore fancy and evening wear so it would probably be a down payment on something Christian Dior. I look forward to upcoming shows and hopefully coming to visit you when you are able to open again. ❤️❤️🙏
I love your costume episodes! I would really like to see an episode of all Couture if possible. I've seen the Dior one and all of that but I just have a love for the workmanship that goes into a Couture piece. Also, again, if I won I would just go for the Cheap and Chic 90's Moschino bag. It's to die for.
I just adore your content! Every time you upload I just have to watch it as you have the most stunning pieces! As well I adore your online shop, especially the Vintage Lanvin/Castillo 50s lace dress is a dream come true which I would adore to add to my wardrobe and I loved the video you made about Lanvin!
The one thing I miss the most during this time is searching for vintage dresses! Online browsing just isn’t the same... though I still do it. Anything late 50s and early 60s is my favorite. Thank you for a wonderful channel! Congratulations on a near 50k .*•:+*
I loved this episode, as always, learned so much and can really appreciate all the work you put into this video! That being said, you have such an amazing repertoire that definitely an in-store visit god-willingly will have to happen! Just knowing the amazing pieces you’ve collected and the ones I always look at on the website, I know that it will definitely be an experience! ♥️🥰
Oh I love Gunne Sax! If we'd had the wedding we wanted last year I would've found one for my wedding dress.

I would love to get some beautiful crafted jewlery because it would probably fit. Love your videos and all the knowledge you give in them
I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
When you said "red carpet" it made me a little sad. That Walborg box purse was to die for!
Great episode. Beautiful examples. My favourite episodes are when I get to learn about detail specific to particular designers and you explain the time/skill it takes to create such pieces. As I’m an subscriber from Australia, if I win a the gift card, it would have to be something that can be survive long distance postage. Looking forward to your next episode!
This channel gives me life especially when I have painful fibromyalgia flare ups...If I won the $500 I would be honored to own anything in your amazing store...but jewelry and purses are my thing lol...anything sparkly!

This channel may have started a dangerous addiction. I can't wait to jump on a plane to come visit when all this is over! I'm completely obsessed with the Zac Posen summer dress just looking at it makes me so happy :D
The dresses in this video are stunning! If I won the $500, I’d love to incorporate one of the gunny sack dresses in my wardrobe.
I'm a sucker for eyewear so I would go with either the Emmanuelle Khanh snakeskin-wrapped shades or the Christian Lacroix black & gold sunglasses =)
I would literally get the black cotton velveteen pullover from your mid century treasure haul and if I had any left over some of your fabulous earrings
I love the idea of the give away! I lust after and would buy the Moschino tuxedo you have 😍 I love a woman in a tuxedo and the one you have is truly amazing 🤩

I would love to get a nicely tailored navy blazer that would last me a lifetime. Thank you for great content and greetings from Finland !
I would love to get a 70's wedding dress
Hi Doris, with every episode I learn something about fabric choices and how the designer incorporates the impact of colour & texture. I always love when there is an accessory alongside on the mannequin. I’m an accessory queen, they are just as important as the clothes you choose to wear. I’m lucky to own several vintage pairs of earrings & some Patricia Fields clutches bought here in Melbourne Australia at a department store over 10 years ago. I wait every week for your episode. A monumental time for USA.
congratulations on this milestone! i’m such an admirer of your work and have been a fan since the LA Frock Stars. your knowledge, passion and collection are such a treasure. if i won the collection i would be giddy to select absolutely anything from the shop! especially, hopefully, hats and headwear 😍
I love watching you talk about allll the lovely clothes you have....found your channel because of Moira Rose....and adore your info on Bridgerton....❤️
Some day I would love to visit the store! I live in PA so I am too far away. If I won the gift card, I would probably get one of your brutalist necklaces and that fabulous leopard print 70s polyester shirt on your website!
