    have the standard fans been removed? if yes, have you connected the fans do you have connectors used by the fans?

      I removed all the stock fans except the one that blows across the main board. I removed the stock exhaust fan and of course the power supply fan and left the bottom off the power supply so air could flow across the components. I wired the fans in parallel to the 12V terminals on the power supply... cdn.thingiverse.com/renders/7a/42/df/8d/f5/10434b68e7bbf22053a415cce59e4608_preview_featured.jpg

      Those skinny red and black wires are going to the Noctua fans

    @replayreb Question: It's better to extract like you do ? I was thinking it's better to send fresh cool air inside the power supply.

      There probably isn't a big difference but I wanted to make sure cool air was pulled in through the side vents on top and across the main board before it moved across the power supply below.

    Hello. In wich direction are the fans mounted? Does they push cold air in the box or take out hot air?

    • @replayreb
      @replayreb  Před 5 lety +2

      Matsoya I aimed both of mine down to pull air in from the top and across the power supply but a lot try the push/pull method but I think they're too close together for that to work very well

    Did you just wire both to the printer's PSU or you have another power supply for the fans?

      I wired it to the PSU specifically the 3rd and 4th terminals that provide 12v. Use a voltmeter to be sure: cdn.thingiverse.com/renders/7a/42/df/8d/f5/10434b68e7bbf22053a415cce59e4608_preview_featured.jpg
