If you guys are in the market for a really solid mechanical keyboard than I reckon this MonsGeek M1 is a really good buy! It has the build quality of something that feels much more expensive than what it is and is an absolute tank weighing in at 1.9kg
Personally I would recommend getting it as a bare bones kit and then adding the switches and keycaps you prefer. But if you don't want the hassle then you can buy it pre-built like in the video!

Would you buy this pre-built or assembled?

.. (ANS) Sure, why not? You couldn't buy the switches and keycaps for the small amount they add to the price. Since it's hot swappable and only put together with a handful of screws. Pretty much anyone can reassemble it to however they say fit. My 4-year-old granddaughter could probably do it.

The volume button going up by 4 is a long-term problem going back to AKKO. MonsGeek is the budget version of AKKO, so a budget, budget keyboard kit. Their software is horrible and they need to start standardizing for VIA. The only reason we have South LEDs is because we have poorly designed cheap Chinese knockoff switches and keycaps that a handful interfered with one another. LEDs need to be North facing especially with any shine through keycaps. These South bottom shine through keycaps are simply ridiculous.
Those painted on ledgers keycaps you have are going to wear off in a month.
Height -Hide- adjustment snap out feet are junk so this is a much better solution. Also the weight and aluminum body is a good deal.
