O my god, how has it taken this long before finding this album! I find it more trip-hop/lofi than dub, but has a very dub-like mindset and it really suits me. Thank you for letting me see into your brain!!
I kinda get what you mean but you should be able to hear the difference on a beefier speaker with the deep rich bass tones on this one. I would call it experimental dub, as it seems more coherent than psydub etc. Amazing tunes!
Guillome produces mainstream techno sound with his cousin (see the Blaze). In my opinion wasted talent. He should continue with his Dub style and bring it to the next level art of sound, but this needs a lot of creativity and time and maybe he lost it now or someone had bad musical influence. Mayd Hubb is epic and all albums are peaces of musical art at its finest. Very underrated artist in my opinion.
