    I did something like that with a small black bathroom shag rug. I was cleaning the bathroom and got some bleach on it. When I seen what it had done I liked it and continued spraying it in random spots in various concentrations in various spots. Now it hangs up on the wall as art decor. Thumbs up for me : )

      @dabbleshells542 Před 3 lety +2

      @@wsketchy But if you use a shirt that is not black or white initially, then you would have to maybe start off with two cut outs of your design exactly the same on the freezer paper. Then after you bleach your shirt that isn't black or white, then wash after bleaching, then reapply copy of cut out, then spray colors. So only the design gets colored.

    • @FyreDrac

    • @joselema85
      @joselema85 Před 5 lety

      Also you would need a heavy gas as the balloon itself would act as the weight in this instance. You would only need a balloon that is not helium friendly I.e thick ballons

    • @jeaniebird999
      @jeaniebird999 Před 5 lety +10

      Just dilute the bleach with water. I used to use bleach when I was a teen, to reverse tie dye my clothes. I quickly found that using straight bleach just eats right through, if not right away, then after only a few runs in the washer. Diluted with water gets the same results with less damage.
      Lemon juice, sunlight, and patience will also bleach some fabrics. Peroxide will also work on some black fabrics (found that out the hard way).
