I think Senjumaru's powers are as follows:
In Shikai, she can weave anything she chooses into existence. Including a fake clone, an umbrella, body parts that she used to heal Oh etsu, and an entire replica of the royal palace complete with all floating islands with mountains and an ocean in one.
In Bankai: she literally weaves fate itself. In some mythologies, fate itself is woven by a giant Loom. This is symbolized in her Bankai. Pay attention to how each of the royal guard gets taken out.
This is my theory ✌️
I like this theory.If you look at the quincies affected by her bankai their sufferings are quite similar to their defeat in the manga.
I actually have another similar idea for the bankai. It’s clearly based off of the idea of weaving fate, but instead of defeating them similarly in those ways, I think it’s more so just creating the perfect counter for them. One reason that I don’t think it’s actually weaving fate is the fact that assuming it goes the same way as the manga, in the case of at least two characters (Gerard and Jugram), they don’t die the way the bankai suggests.
All the imagery and symbolism linking to their actual defeats I think is just that. Details meant to foreshadow how they lose in the future, but not something Senjumaru herself is actually aware of (I mean, she intended for this to actual kill them. It’s clear she isn’t actually seeing the future or anything). That’s my interpretation anyway, but again, I don’t think yours is AS different as I may have made it out to be.
Shutara going full Bankai was the epic perfect way to close out this season. We got a real treat that subverted and surpassed the original manga material here. Squad Zero got its moment in the sun and now the endgame starts. And Kon's segment was honestly a breath of fresh air from the near endless carnage. More so given his philosophy of no killing pacifism and unbloodied hands.
Tbh i liked Kon, i feel like we needed a bit of fresh air, tybw is going in haaard af so a bit of Kon isnt a bad thing, reminds me more of OG Bleach

Someone commented this on another reaction, but I think it fits here: Shutara's bankai is effectively the 3 Fates of Greek mythology. Threading (creating life), weaving (determining what that person will do and achieve), and cutting the finished project (ending their life). A reply to that comment mentioned that the name was a reference to another version of that idea from the east.
As for Uryu's tapestry, I believe I heard that it's indicative of the first Auswalen (sp?) when his mother died. But given the foreshadowing in the rest of the tapestries, it could be of a future moment that will be brand new to the story ...

I red it as him being captivated by his Quincy pride and that eventually leading him to his death considering his soul would get absorbed by Yhwach after his death.

Episode 25 and 26 was PEAK, I'm so ready for Cour 3.
I think Senju's bankai is bringing forth their fate or possible death to her sealed off rooms in order to defeat her opponent and turn their story into fabric.

OK OK... I've never dropped one of these. But I've been a bleach fan since o8... and I was blown away completely... and you really do a good job to show the real fan bases excitement... love to see it... no other anime is doing this...

Shutara was picked by the squad because of her inate ability to take on multiple opponents (multiple hands) which is very interesting. I wonder how she is gonna bite the dust next cour? If uryu manages to defeat senjumaru on his own next cour, then the antithesis will truly live up to its name of the counter to the almighty. And I'll never hear the end of the uryu > yamamoto agenda.
I truly hope we see nimaiya's bankai/shin'uchi by the end of the arc that would be AMAZING
Senjumaru seems to have attacked him by mimicking Auschwalen which Uryu is immune to and might give him the opening to use The Antithesis to break free
The antithesis will be used to reverse the outcome of Senjumaru’s Bankai and just pull a uno reverse card, while also reviving all the other stern ritter by reversing the outcome of their deaths, basically Senjumaru is now a gestalt of 4 people together, so her death will count for the lives of Askin Pernida Gerard and Lillie combined, Hashbrown might also still be alive using the Balance to ward off death
@@TenebraeXVII The bankai actually seems to have some future predicting and/or trauma based effects (ala sisters of fate) we see this with jugo and the fire signifying bazz while the other ss members all face similar predicaments in their final battles so I wonder if uryu's "thread of fate" implies anime only content we have yet to see or is trauma from auswahlen. Anyways uryu stock will be through the roof if he manages to defeat her on his own better buy some call options.

I mean, she was able to weave reality before... I think with her Bankai she's able to create realities & forever trap them in her fabrics.
They said she had a thousand arms, so almost makes me wonder if she has like 1000's of "rooms" to put people into that would be best to go against them. But yeah, I'd put all the squad 0, not talking about Ichibe, about the same strength but obviously some powers are better suited for certain situations. Like how Ichigo and Kenpachi have some of the most over powered bankai, but against certain foes, they just won't cut it, while others could have weaker bankai to them and be much better in certain fights. I'd love if in the next season we could get a sneak peak of the other squad zero bankai's and powers lol.
I for sure think that with any new top 10 strongest in bleach, that at least 1-4 need to be reserved for the royal guard. Might be able to get away with giving all 4 1 slot since only 1 can use their power while the others die.

Not exactly, gerard can’t be killed as his cross is indestructible, lille is immortal because he is the closest to god, pernida is near immortal because he is the left arm of the soul king, gremmys brain is technically indestructible so he’s technically immortal but he can become immobile.
Even if ichibei erased their names he can never erase THEM, they are connected to god

For a bit I was wondering how exactly they’re going to fill the time space for the first episode of Cour 3, and I think I’m onto something. “A” will probably be the first episode of Cour 3 and the majority of it will be adapting a updated version of the “God Like You” backstory that the anime glossed over.

every other royal guard member had a foreshadow of their future fights, uryu's seemed related with either yhwach draining his power and life or something with his antithesis since it showed the star symbol. besides that tho it's hard to tell what it wants to show for ishida's future fight, at least for me xD
Dunno if you noticed but the Bankai seals fate ...it predicted how the story lines of the 6 would end .....from Uryu's power being taken by Ywh..... Babies busting Ashwalt to flames ...... The Lethal Dose Stein being destroyed by 3 golden shinigami .... Our Sniper shooting himself ...that's how powerful her Bankai was

Shatatsu is such an amazing illusion bankai, a very very strong one actually, it is showing the Royal Guards a metaphor of how they will eventually die and it is trying to turn this into a reality.

I don't think I'm either wrong or alone in stating that this episode can definitely be summed up as "Zero Squad Redemption"
It almost makes me wonder if there is more to her bankai than meets the eye as well. Because knowing what we know, it is almost like she is seeing the future as well with how a lot of them get seriously injured/killed. Though it could just be a little bit of coincidental foreshadowing.
More like she sealed their fated deaths, especially Uryu if he went further to follow Yhwach's goal

To me scrift is the part of a soul who become the zampakuto spirit/power, but instead of needing an Asauch to manifest the power Yuha use an letter draw with his blood to draw this power from the soul of the quincys
Actually it's already been clarified by kubo, yhwach can give ANY power but the strength of the ability depends on ones soul so he picks the one perfect for them after peering into their soul and learning everything about them.

If you think about it, squad 0 is absurd. As long as Ichibei and the palace exist he can revive the others. As long as his name exists, he can be revived by anyone else. They just can't fucking die lmao.
As for Senjumaru, she could create an entire copy of the royal palace without even releasing her sword, with it released, i assume she can create whatever the fuck she wants.

Japanese kanji is tricky with how similar sounding words can mean an entirely different thing because it's written in different kanji. Like unahana's minazuki for example, shikai and bankai are the same minazuki, but the kanji is different and so does the meaning
