Im a Millwall fan and you guys are solid people, Fanbase wise I relate to Birmingham City Fans more than most other clubs. But your in denial, the owners got you relegated by sacking and hiring managers needlessly. Sure they speak to the fans on the level and they reassure you but they have no idea about football and sack managers who were actually gonna keep you up. I hope they learn from this and do right by you in future regardless of how much money they pump in.

@@ShaneLee-dy4cz yeah promises of heavy investment isn’t always the way to go about promotions, especially when being the big fish in L1, really tough to bounce straight back. It gets fans onside, like previous safc owners have tried with their ‘promises’, and their owner obviously has the finances but don’t think their club has the stability yet to keep those promises. It’s what happens on the pitch at the end of the day

As for safc, I agree on and off pitch has been an embarrassment tbh but I’m personally willing to see how this summer goes with it being the first real test of potential significant funds (Clarke etc) actually being reinvested but understand why people want them gone.

@@krisjohnson4224 We have it and we can spend it. League 1 has rules that allow owners to gift funds to the club and those funds become part of turnover. This is all covered on the financial fairplay website and many others.

Part of me is happy that she gets to experience relegation as I didn’t think it was appropriate when she said “we all know how it ends” when you stay up every year but the other part of me feels for her as she seems like a nice person

Good day out at Shrewsbury when I went with Blues some time ago and lovely town.
We actually sang 'Que Sera Sera whatever will be will be we're going to Shrewsbury que Sera sera' today 😂. Our anthem says it all in life is full of joys and sorrows. It's the sorrows you endure that make the joys so much sweeter. Despite this setback we are on an upward trajectory with good ambitious owners. Last year we were renting our own ground with two stands closed and owed over £100m. We have finally got our club back. Massive rebuild in the summer with a lot of high earners coming off the books. Let's hope Tony Mowbary is fit enough for preseason. KRO.

Stockport fan here ... I have a mate who is Blues and I know a couple of staff so no gloating from me. Of course we are looking forward to coming to St Andrews again, of course we are ... however, look at our demise from when we use to play you, dropped like a stone to NL North and took years to come back ... but we got the right owner, he gets the club and now we are on our way back. At least you have not imploded to that extent and I have no doubt its exciting times ahead for you ... keep right on 🙂

You’re in for a shock if you think league 1 will be all fun and games. Many bigger clubs have tried and failed to get out that league for years. It took my team Sunderland 4 years and even then we had to do it through the playoffs
Davo I must admit yesterday was a sad day for us all it was the lowest I've been as a blues fan I'm only 29 so I didn't see them dark days in the 90s what my old man had seen, but eventually I'll put it behind me and be optimistic about next season it will be a good thing going to games next year knowing we are going to win the feeling of bouncing back up will make it all a better feeling around the club. Us as fans just need to get behind them which we do week In week out

Listening to Sam and all of a sudden the situation and the world feels like a better place. Sam is a proper Bluenose. Sam speaks with such heart and passion but also with so much sense and clarity. The interaction between the two of you is so pure. Forever true, forever Blue.
For so many different reasons, it's horrible to find ourselves relegated to league one but the fact that if we'd stayed up, i genuinely think that we had a serious chancevof signing Stansfield on a permanent basis or at the very least another season on loan and then who knows.
I say we ask him and Fulham to name their price and give them and what he deserves, or we at the very least have him back on loan again and go from there.
Stansfield is by far the standout player of the season, both in terms of quality and commitment.
He's a proper pro. Clearly, he's a very grounded and settled family man who's mature beyond his years.
I will never forget his debut, which set the tone for the rest of the season. What a player. A proper Bluenose.
Sadly, already in his young life, he has suffered the trauma of losing his Father. His family will undoubtedly be so proud of the player that he is and, more importantly, the young man that he is. His Dad would've been and will be so proud of him looking down and his greatest legacy is his son Jay Stansfield.
Stansfield is without a doubt my favourite player down the Blues since the days of Christophe Duggary. We all know what Duggary achieved as a player, so I'm not comparing them in that way but it doesn't feel wrong in anyway to mention the two of them in the same breathe (comment). I just hope that Stansfield is a Blues player a lot lot longer. If ever a man had earned himself a name your price contract Stansfield is that man. In the modern world of football Stansfield is a shining beacon of what being a player should be about.
On that note, I feel it's only right to mention Juke. This is not how I hoped his time at Blues would come to an end. The fact he came out on his own with a gap from the rest of the squad felt like a very final goodbye. It's such a shame he was met with hardly anyone left to say goodbye to and us to him. An absolute Blues legend. He would more than do a job for us in League One so if the club were to offer him a one year contract I would be delighted. Head and heart speaking. Juke is the sort of character that we love and need. I would love him to continue his relationship with Blues as a player and as a coach be that included in his role next year or in future years.
A special mention to Wagner, too. The man is nothing but class. He will be hurting like the rest of us, not just from the perspective as an owner but as a fan. Wagner was really let down by Cook who has sp much blood on his hands from this season. But what's done is done, and I don't want to dwell on or end on that point.
The final words have to go to Sam and Davo. You two epitomise why I love our club. Why I'm so pleased and proud to call myself a Bluenose. Thank you. Both of you. Proper class acts, proper, proper, proper Bluenose's.

What can i say Davo, the fans turned up every game, home and away. It was just a shame the team didn't. Hopefully, we'll see some better players next season who want to play as a team. To many lone players this season that couldn't read what each other was doing, and they wanted to many touches of the ball instead of going for the easy pass.
Tough to take, it always is,but l,ve seen them in the the third tier twice before,- this time we must try and bounce straight back,-lets get the recruitment right and give it everyhing next season,KRO
Let’s reset with a permanent manager who has a style of football the players follow. First signing a captain in the mould of Luke O’Neil from Sunderland. A leader that we surround with young hungry players who can win promotion and take the step to championship football. Bleak day today but tomorrow looking brighter
Its been proven on a number occasions that a year or two to regroup win some games and build a good feeling can work out better in the long run rather than scrapping out of relegation and rinse repeating the same patchy season in the championship.
