It makes me nervous driving with my mom on the Autobahn.
Once a police officer rang my doorbell and asked for me. Full name. And even though I hadn't done anything illegal by then I got so scared I went so close to not open, run away and start a new life in Poland. Turns out I had dropped my id and he had seen it and been so kind to return it
In January I lost my passport while in the US. I am Latino. The ICE emailed the embassy of my country who then emailed me and I was appointed to go to the ICE office and I saw myself being thrown to a camp with a bunch of Honduran kids, body snatched, wig on the other side of the wall. Turns out the officer who had it was quite nice and gave me my passport back. Someone found it and sent it there.
Proof that there are still more nice people out there and that we all should stop watching/reading so much news. Only the few bad things that happen will be shown there. :)

Hard agree on Katya's opinion about sentencing drug addicts. These are people who DESPERATELY need HELP, not PRISON. This doesn't mean that if they commit an actual crime it should be forgiven, but that owning drugs shouldn't be a crime itself, unlike selling them. If I'm not mistaken here in my country going to prison depends on the ammount of drugs they find you with, because if they are too many, the law assumes you're buying (which I think it's completely fair). That surprised me a lot about USA
Yes, they also will randomly release people from the prisons in the US to save money and for some reason its always violent crimes instead of like embezzlement or drug dealing...
