I’d have to say Jiri has the strongest mindset on the UFC roster. That’s a big reason so many people are drawn to him. Yes, his fighting style is exciting too but what sets him apart is his mindset. It’s just rare, he has this respectful warrior way where you can tell how much respect he has for every opponent yet he has full intent to kill or be killed. He doesn’t let emotions even remotely effect his fights, he is one of a kind.
He has the utmost respect for the sport to have the utmost repect to the fighters while having the utmost willingness to "kill" them. Definitely a romanticized warriors mindset
The way he thinks he needs be outside of the cage like meditate in woods or be with harmony with nature/ external forces etc is what sets him apart, there are other fighters like Khamzat who practically sleeps in the gym and trains physically like a mad man... Two complete opposite styles but both completely immersed in their crafts

This dude is def towards the top of fighters that I know will be champ some day even if he doesn’t beat glover. I think he’s going to take the belt though.
Jiri is a warrior at heart with the skill to back it up and I could see him getting a KO or TKO over Glover. However I have doubted Glover in the past he continues to surprise me, so I could also see Glover by decision or sub.
Glover is so incredibly fast, and well rounded. He has crazy fast punches and insanely high level grappling. I think Glover could end up going down as one of the most famous underdog fighters ever in MMA, even more than Randy Couture. By all accounts Glover should be way past his prime, but somehow he seems to be entering his prime at 43.

I called Glover beating Jan, because Glover has looked like a man on a mission and destined to take the belt. He was surprisingly underrated too, in the grand scheme of things. (He was) His power is unworldly and jujitsu is ultra dangerous. But.. I think Jiri got his number. I was sure Tai would take out Derrick, I was sure Glover would take out Jan, but I don’t see Glover taking out Jiri. Jiri is too fast and too creative for Glover. Glover’s chin is stellar tho, so he might take a beating for 5 rounds to a career ending point. Glover has a punchers chance, and lord knows that’s all he needs, but like I said, Jiri has to do fatal mistake to not take home the belt.
Jiri’s defense is horrible tho, he gets hit too much. And glover heavy hands will hurt him if he doesn’t improve on that aspect
