      @@jacobbella5530 I know this is a late reply but the reason is that if it were a short vowel we would use “damma” like in “مُ” instead of “waw” “و”

    THE BEST DUA A TO SEEK FORGIVENESS 💯💕 (Sayyid Ul Istigfaar)
    Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ)
    said whoever says this Dua a once in the morning and die before evening S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH and whoever says this Dua a once in the evening sincerely and dies before Morning S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH
    Please make it a habit to recite everyday, once in the morning and once in the evening
    The Dua a
    اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي, لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ, خَلَقْتَنِي, وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ, وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ،, أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ, أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ, وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي, فَاغْفِرْ لِي; فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ اَلذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
    Allahumma, Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana ala ahdika wa wa dika mastata tu, a udhu bika min sharri ma sana tu, abuw u laka bidhanbi, wa abuw u laka bini matika alayya faghfirli, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta
    Meaning
    “O Allah! You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in you from the evil, which I have committed. I acknowledge your favor upon me and I knowledge my sins, so forgive me,indeed nobody forgives sins but you

    I have a question regarding my recitation. In the last verse of surah Mulk, do I have to read the word bima (water) 6 hareka long?

      In the last ayah, it is the word bi-maaiin , ماء is one word, and madd is within the word, so it is madd wajib mutassil, can be recited 4 or 5 harakat, whichever you choose, consistently. Not 6 harakat

    Assalamu Alaykum Ustadh. Im confused about the word "Their Salah". Isn't the pronoun "their" plural which would mean the number of the word "their salah" is plural and not singular like you mentioned? Jazakallahu Khair

      Salah is a singular noun. The plural of salah is salawaat. The word is salaatihim and not salawaatihim. Allahu alam

      I think it's because it refers to one prayer (صلاتهم) as opposed to صلوٰتهم which is multiple prayers. صلاتهم is their prayer (prayer being singular). صلوٰتهم is their prayers (prayers being multiple).

    ➢ Find ALL the nouns in these three verses. Tip: Find at least SIX.
    1. ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ
    2. رَيْبَ
    3. هُدًى
    4. لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
    5. بِٱلْغَيْبِ
    6. ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
    ➢ Analyze & translate all the nouns you found. Note: You studied the meanings of all these nouns.

    6. The Prayer
    Use a table similar to that you watched in the lesson to analyze the nouns.
    1. ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ = Definite, masculine, singular, case ending dummah
    2. رَيْبَ = indefinite, masculine, singular, case ending fathah
    3. هُدًى = indefinite, masculine, singular, case ending sukoon
    4. لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ = definite, masculine, plural, case ending ي
    5. بِٱلْغَيْبِ = Definite, masculine, singular, case ending kasrah
    6. ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ = definite, feminine, singular, case ending fathah
    Task (2):
    خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَعَلَىٰ سَمْعِهِمْ ۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ غِشَـٰوَةٌ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ ٧
    ➢ What are the case endings for the nouns mentioned in this ayah
    1. خَتَمَ = fathah
    2. ٱللَّهُ = dummah
    3. قُلُوبِهِمْ = kasrah

    Is Quranic Arabic spoken in Saudi Arabia or anywhere else? Or has some of the vocabulary changed in the way Old English vocabulary has gone through some changes? Which country's Arabic is closer to Quranic Arabic and in which order, for example, Saudi Arabia, then Iraq, then North Africa such as Somalia, then Libiya, then Syrian, then Lebanese, then Egyptian etc... And where would you learn to speak Quranic Arabic saying for example Good morning, How are you? Do you have the time? Were you in Damascus yesterday? Can you please explain the differences?     So ist صَلاتِهِمْ ambiguous then and can mean both „their prayer“ but also „their prayers“? Because Plural of صَلاة is صَلات if I‘m not mistaken and these two look the same when adding the suffix „هِم" at the end -> صَلاتِهِم?     Assalamu alaikum usthad if fatha comes at the end of the noun it indicates object and damma comes at the end it will indicate as subject I'm I correct ?

      In many cases yes, but that is not always like that. There are other cases where this does not apply. But I will specify these cases in future lessons in shaa Allah.

    Salam, Shouldn't the case ending for المؤمنون be nun with a fatha. why is it wow, even though it doesn't end in it

      Asslamo alikom,
      The answer to this question will be explained later in the course in shaa Allah.
      but the quick answer is that the case ending of المؤمنون is found in the و not the fat'ha on the noon.
      That's why we also have المؤمنين which is the same word with a different case ending, it's then ي in that case.

      The original form of “صلات” is “صلاة” which is female because it ends in “ة" but "بم" doesn’t meet any of the conditions to be female, thus it is male! I may have not understood the wording of your question and didn’t answer your doubt.
