I totally struggle with sleeping unless I keep busy..my whole life I’ve been high strung..I’m the same way..if I don’t make or craft or flip a project everyday I’m missing out ❤
I have osteoarthritis and teach senior yoga and Silver Sneakers and we always say, Motion is Lotion! I too sleep better when I stay busy and move and exercise and work!
We have built custom homes for 41 years this year, I decorate with the clients, start to finish, if I hear one more time….”it must be nice to control your own time and leave whenever you want”! When you own and run a small business and you are successful at it, you better be ready to put in 80 hr weeks and sometimes more! People depend on you to get the job done! And if you are gone or leave town, it’s twice as hard to get things worked out before you leave, then double the time when you get back! I would not have it any other way! Love everything you guys do and how hard you both work for your lifestyle and your family! That’s what it’s all about!

I wonder if a 1x3 or 4 behind each side would reinforce the frame. It would be stronger and not so flexible.
With the mirror in it, it is more stable without flex.

I put wax on stained wood, but now I want to paint it. Will paint stick to the wax?
You should use mineral spirits to remove the wax
What exactly is a salt wash paint is it chunky ? I have never experimented with it .
It adds texture to your paint kinda like baking soda or epsom salt..I add a little at a time to get to the consistency that u are looking for
Love the mirror hanging in your dining area. The finish is gorgeous. We’re’ self employed and work around our 4 kids sports. If there’s a out of town game then grandma does ubering for ones in town. I’m 75 with diabetes, torn rotator cuff and arthritic knee so keeping busy is good. Yep, I agree, I sleep better when I’ve worked hard. 💕💕💕💕👍👍👍
Is Salt Wash the same ( almost) to adding baking soda to your paint?
I would assume similar in that it adds texture. But baking soda doesn’t really hold up from what I have seen. The salt wash has different ingredients in it that help it work well on furniture

Oh brother that’s a bit much they work great together wish me and my hubby had what they have and I’ve been married 35 years..they are true partners and zeb is so chill and Jamie has lots of energy makes a power couple..and we too were high school sweethearts❤
