A Motorhome Trip from Wales to Croatia - Part 9 - Plitvice to Amadria Park Camping, Trogir, Croatia

- After the wonders of Plitvice Lakes National Park we took a shorter drive down to the coast of Croatia, just west of Split, to our 12 day stop. We had booked Camping Belvedere (aka Amadria Park, Trogir) and chose a non motorway route for the journey that took us through the Croatian countryside which is really beautiful. The roads were great and not at all busy and diesel is cheap!!
The camp site at Trogir was just fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a very well priced facility with some superb facilities. We loved it !! :)

My girlfriend and I are planning on buying a motorhome, there is so many on the market, it's hard to choose. We have hired 2 in the past and decided we want to buy one. We are going to call ourselves the Welsh Travellers. If ever you come to mid Wales from Lincolnshire, come via Shrewsbury in Shropshire and I can show you a couple of things of interest, one of which, you wouldn't believe it unless you saw it

Yes they did have rentable chalets and I agree it was a fantastic spot!! Those views each morning as you got out of the van were beautiful :)

We are considering going all the way to Greece to the original Sparta region where my father is from….. have you considered Greece yourselves?
We were only talking about doing more of this area recently including as far as Greece. I reckon it would be fantastic but need more than 4 weeks 😁👍. This 12 day site was our furthest South. We then start the trip back up with 4 or five stops in Slovenia, Austria, Luxembourg, Bavaria and France. These areas are really good value in all respects so you get a lot for your Euros down here!! (If you haven’t subscribed already don’t forget to so you get notifications 😁😁🚌)
@@motorhomingadventures We’ve subscribed from the beginning really enjoy the Vlogs ……looking forward to more on the journey back, don’t know if others have mentioned or you may have considered getting yourselves some fluffy lapel mics as when you are driving it’s not easy to hear …….especially for an old soldier like myself with gunfire effected ears 😂
Fabb and many thanks - the mic issue I only found later in the trip - there was a setting in the go pro for priority given to front or rear mic which we now know about!!!! That helps and I’ve also got a lapel mic x 1 so far to have a play with that - I do agree the sound was very dodgy with the mic in the wrong priority !! (I’ve just realised you must be the NEC bigrat? )
How grubby would that be if it was in the uk ?
It was an amazing site for exploring!! There are some really nice UK sites too DS, generally a bit more expensive though and perhaps not quite as much sun!!!
