I actually like it when my filipino friends tell me their honest opinion about what they think of my current look. Back in the US, they will just say "it looks good" almost everytime even if my new appearance is bad so I wouldn't lose confidence.
My filipino friends may poke fun of me when I change something that doesn't suit their taste but at least I get an honest unfiltered feedback. And even if they may laugh at my current look, deep down they are deeply concerned and is just looking out for my greater good.

Being introvert is difficult here in Philippines, people will ask you things you'd rather don't talk about like personal life and you will be considered bad mannered if you directly say you don't want to talk about it. Also in Hispanic countries rice is eaten a lot, as much as in Asia, but knives and forks are widely used, spoons are heavily used and its the most normal to eat only with a spoon without forks and knives, but using forks and spoons? That's odd as fuck my dude. Also I like spaghetti and sausages, they're great.

As an Indonesian, we share the same traits with our filipinos neighbour. Particularly regarding the "punctuality" issue (an Indonesian friend says "i'm otw" when you call him/her to an appointment, it is very likely that he/she is still in the bed). And about being nosey, i think it is a common trait in South East Asia. In Singapore they call this trait as being "kaypoh" (please correct me if i'm wrong), and in Indonesia they call it as being "kepo".

Being a Filipino, I am a balut addict, I can eat balut continuously until my neck hurts, but really, i don't tear it piece by piece and eat it, nor examine the egg while eating. Its really delicious by just eating it and not anymore examining it. And for me I have limitations, I don't eat balut when the chick is already a chick - complete with beak, feather and wings. foreigners, Americans in particular should know how to pick the right balut like how you pick a good wine hehehe

There are so many good food in the philippines, i don't understand why they always push the exotic ones like balut, dinuguan, isaw and also jollibee to the foreigners. Not all filipinos can eat balut, dinuguan and isaw while jollibee is just a normal fastfood chain. Not all can speak fluent in english but majority can speak and understand english. Not all filipinos are open, friendly or sociable. Yes we do have friends and we treat them like a family, but some still prefers privacy and space specially those living in the city. We use not ony water, but we used soap when cleaning our butts.

If I get to recommend one Vlog topic you should feature on Filipino Culture... Boys Circumcision at the age of 8 - 12. This normally happens during summer vacation where the kids dont have to go to school and will have time to heal after the circumcision... Procedures could be the traditional circumcision where in there's no anesthesia and only using guava leaf as disinfectant. Other procedures are done in Medical clinics but the most common are Mass circumcision usually done by the army or some medical volunteers. Every Filipino young boys go through this as a right to manhood.

Wow I'm Filipino living in the Philippines and yet I'm very different XD
    1. I don't eat balot. Never have even tasted one in my life actually XD (And yeah here we call it balot, I guess its either the dialects or it's interchangeable idk tho)
    2. While it may be true I am online often, I don't actually spend as much time as I used to in FB, I've been spending more time on Twitter. (And even my time in G+ may already be starting to surpass the time spent on Facebook...)
Also I don't like taking selfies. Look through my pictures and you'll probably see 75% anime, 15% memes, 4+% other stuff, and I only have like, 7 or 10 selfies in the entire memory lol
    3. As much as this still poses an obstacle for me, I'm actually taking effort to rid myself of this habit I consider idiotic (Sometimes going even to the extreme that I want to isolate myself from everyone else, and I sometimes feel like I do better with time when no one is around.)
Well anyway, since I'm practicing to beat even Japanese time (Even the most exact time, even seconds late not tolerated), so I'm actually taking effort at that.
Lets say you'd invited me for dinner, I'd try my best to make it early or exact time, but assuming I'd mess up and be late, I'd say I'd be at the least less than 1 minute, and at the most, 15-30 minutes late, though assuming nothing can delay me, it would be 15 minutes.
    4. Well.... not really much difference, but yeah I use a spoon and a fork here. And if its not that, its chopsticks.
Though worth noting, I will *NEVER* use my hands to eat food. While my crazy brain would sometimes go "Its uncivilized" (Which is rude and arrogant to say tbh), I think its more of I'm like a cat, when I hold food with my hands, within a few seconds you'll see me washing my hands, sometimes with soap. Cause its kinda uncomfortable to have the feeling of food touching your hands, and smelling like food too, so I wash it like how a cat cleans itself by licking its paws.... yeah I'm weird XD
    5. Well not much difference here either tbh XD
Yeah I'm chill when you talk to me lol, although I'd probably be more shy and introverted at first. Although obviously I'd be very cautious (or even creeped out) if you were a stranger that just casually approached me. Buttttt yeahhhh glad you enjoy our country, most of us are pretty nice, I guess XD
