- A new "Pogue"? A new "Kamen Rider"? We look at the internet. Car boot sale confirmation. Romantic great white sharks. Parts commonality of the 6xxx series, and the same question for the 7xxx series. Do we still sell our crystals? Yes, we do. We're also prepping for a new "Pogue" type crystal the 33018WGN00 "Flat"! Seiko model names. Cyclops windows - hate or love. The SSK003 is a 200m watch? Freddie Mercury's pulsemeter. The collectibility of the UFO / Yachtsman. And a misplaced 6105 question. Plus what to do with a free MGB-GT - a reader weighs in.

I’ve just watched that how to wind a Seiko 10 times and I’m still shaking. When you come down and do the White Shark cage dive just wear one of your cheaper watches a good one would be the Pulsar Y514 Diver just in case you don’t make it out in one piece it would be a shame to loose a good 6105-8000. Regards from NZ
Happy Saturday :)
The GMT orange was called The Mikan Orange!
I remembered what it was called almost instantly after we stopped recording lol
Brian May famously wore a 7548! Queen seems to have loved Seiko!
It was the style at the time
My eldest son picked one of those solar “Speedtimers” (the silver dial SSC911) as his high school graduation watch. He loves the look and the practicality of the solar quartz movement.
@11:03 You didnt notice the BEZEL DESIGN changed for the two watches on the right. Compare that SBSA271 to your previously reviewed SRPK17 ( 55th Anniversary Limited Edition). Case shape changed also---weird--->it's like they changed the design but didnt go far
Seiko LOVE doing mishmash models inspired by their past history with completely wrong proportions and same time release very accurate reissue, some times the mishmash models worked though 🤣 my prime good example is 1959 alpinist 38mm
And prime example of completely wronng the MM300
Satsuma.
@Spencer Is your 10 year old vid called the Shako? Seriously, can you do a segment on Seiko movements you can wind with the crown? And also seiko movements that are not self-winders. Bests to Sabrina and fam !
So happy to see you around! I happen to have a hand-wind project coming in for a customer; let's see how that goes.
Wrist check: Looking at my Pulsar quartz 2001, Reference number: V103-6059 550061, Serial number: 5N1225 ... Can't find any info on it still, still don't know how old it is, or how expensive it was...Lovely little watch though. Going to try to find a pulsar catalogue :) haven't found one yet... Not many for sale either, saw 2 both sold already..

F/E might be full/empty?
Yh its solar chronograph model 😊
"New" Pogue? Not. More parts bin nonsense from Seiko.
