Based in Wellington, New Zealand comes singer Sianne Dougherty. Performing here at the Karaka Cafe in Wellington city as part of a 4 part weekly Friday night gigs called 'Karaka Wai for the Month Of Matariki. Matariki in the Maori(indigenous culture of NZ) culture is the Maori New Year falling mainly in June each year. Sianne and all the artists performing are in these series are all of Maori descent. Each Friday between 3 or 4 different singers perform between 6-9pm. Admission was $15 pre sold or $20 at the door.
