    I've just watched a quick 30 min video of all of the modifiers that blender has, i knew that it exist a modifier where u transform a plain or something on clotches, and i was kinda curious because how clotches could work without gravity? Then i searched about it and im literally shocked bcuz i didnt knew that blender could actually do that omfg

    I don't know why, but objects can jitter, stutter when hit the ground or even dive a bit into it, why it happens? I've tried Convex Hull and Mesh... with the mesh it can go through the ground

    Hello! Thank you very much for the video!!! I understood what my mistake was, but eventually stumbled upon another TT I noticed that you can choose different settings for various objects but I cannot do that. Settings in my Blender just apply to every single object out there, although i firstly select one + change its settings, and then another, still doesn't help. Maybe anyone does know what is wrong?

  • @jw1172
    @jw1172 Před 2 lety

    This is really helpful, but i came across one problem, when i apply active rigid body to an object, Auto-Keying doesnt record the keyframes for it when playing the animation, anyone know whats happening here?
    I have "Add and replace" enabled under the auto-keying menu.

    When I hit play the cube doesn't fall automatically. I have to bake the physics first. Is there a setting to change this?

  • @NonsenseGUS

    So I see everyone just hit the rigid body button and the cube drops once they hit play..... Mine doesn't do that. I hit the button and nothing. I set the floor as passive and my object as active nothing. Idk what I'm doing wrong?

    • @Olav3D

      Decrease the sensitivity margin value usually helps.

    • @Olav3D
      @Olav3D  Před 4 lety

      Also increasing the number of steps in the rigid body world settings increases accuracy.

  • @randomrenderings8098
    @randomrenderings8098 Před 4 lety

    I still think Blender's gravity/physics runs slow - not the computation or the baking, but the physical representation of reality. I always end up increasing the speed in the global settings for gravity.

    • @Olav3D
      @Olav3D  Před 4 lety

      It can easily look too slow or too quick depending on the fps for sure.
