Not so much in 7... but 8 feels like a completely different character lol half the old combos I knew don't even exist anymore. A whole new stance, if I'm not mistaken. I'm puts changed a bit for combos... idk fam.. Steve always felt like a tech character with a high skill ceiling

As much as I like the Tekken franchise, I suck at performing combos. So any character I can figure out how to play, IDC which tier, complexity, playstyle or gameplay, I'd be very happy (although I used to play Hwoarang, Yoshimitsu, Bryan and Raven)

This made me nearly want to pickup Steve for a while again, LTG was really struggling with such an offensive play style. But he struggles with every play style i guess
I wish Tyler1 gave a chance to Fighting games to prove that anyone can get good even with 0 previous knowledge except dale wilson.
You can get good to a certain extent but at some point if you wanna reach the top levels you're gonna have to get some knowledge of fighting game mechanics. And then depending on what tier character you play you'll have to have a certain amount of knowledge of other character as well as your own.

I'm confused why making heat activation only available near death would make it less of a "scrub" mechanic. Wouldn't having it as a straight comeback mechanic make it more helpful for players who are losing, i.e. scrubs? I know Dale is just consumed by salt, but I feel like his ideas would be at least coherent even if it was copium, but this just doesn't make sense at all. Frankly, I don't understand why he doesn't just play Tekken 7. I guess because he'd probably get his ass whooped even harder by the veterans still playing that.
