Johnson wasn't that bad at the Sharks. He got injured which didn't help. But his game management and his try assists were way higher than years before at the Warriors. He came back a better player.

All biased referees do is hurt the growth of RL and NRL in New Zealand and the Pacific, and that takes away money from everyone's pocket. NRL should take refereeing seriously because it's screwing up the cashflow.

Johnson has been brilliant this year because their forward pack is not just a bunch of offloders like the warriors of old. They now have line runners and defenders giving Johnson more options to work his magic. Him and Reno from the Broncos will be eligible for a pension card soon.

Got him through a calf injury that I thought would stop him playing for more than 1 week... and it looks like Shaun REALLY wants to be where he is.... Though you are right, at this level it must be bloody hard to stay at the level of fitness the young fellas have.... Cross fingers we still have him for a couple more seasons.

I don't think Suncorp is as much of a fortress when the Warriors are there tbh. Home town advantage, no doubt, but I dont think the crowd will be as one-sided as against the knights, and that's going to mean a great deal.
alot of warriors supporters in brizzy and certain some parts of sydney.......i think from what ive seen this year they get better away support than any other team in the nrl.

Yeah I went to the dolphins warriors game at suncorp and even though it was a b team warriors against the dolphins. The crowd was 90 percent warriors fans. Felt like a home game

If the Warriors won a GF, it would elevate league to unprecedented levels not seen since Tina Turner. This would in turn create fantastic internationals.
