I saw A lot of really good bands in the early eighties and I would love to see these ladies in an arena tour. They would knock it right out of the park.
Awesome show! I was so glad to be able to go. Was in the middle about 20 or 25 feet back. I was able to see everyone clearly! Great fans as well! Thanks for sharing this video!
No one: "Hey Pat McKee, there will be a cosplaying Japanese maid who identifies as a pigeon and who will put together one of the best rock bands in the world, and you're going to love them!!!"
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘❤❤. It is a very low cost tour. no big screen, simple lights. But, they have the two most important things a band should have: Amazing music and amazing fans! BAND MAID IS AWESOME!
@@Altmetall666 Well, I feel bad for the younger female fans that are usually shorter than the, until now, more common Band-Maid fan. At the New York and New Jersey shows, beside me were a couple of those girls. The one at the New Jersey show managed to get one of MISA's pick.
12:46 Misa has no idea of the magnitude of awesomeness she exudes -- and that is why we all love her. I always use Misa as an example of never saying much and letting your talents speak for you. Of course I use BAND-MAID as an example of humility and being true to oneself.
Thanks for this! Saw them in Seattle and thought they were pretty hot right out of the gate, but the more recent footage shows they are more comfortable and confident and putting on absolutely killer shows. As Ryan Mear says, "what a band".
Man going back to Japan is going to be a drag. Everyone is supposed to be quiet lol. Miku said as much as F*** that!!! Ladies deserve all the sucess in their quest towards world Domination!! 🌎 Great quality here thanks for uploading. 🤘💕🦊
Goddamn I love the ladies so much, they kinda confirm for me everything I need to know about music. They're going to be Gods in 15 years, mark my words.
This is gotta be one of the tightest live groups I've ever heard, and I've been into a variety of music and playing guitar since the late '80s. I had a roommate in college at Ohio State who worked at a music store they used to get comped 4 free tickets for every show at the Newport Theatre on campus so imagine the bands coming through and I've seen well over 100 shows. I recently saw Smashing Pumpkins and that sound was amazing, but they gotta have crazy money behind producing it. You can tell here it's pure talent here they don't have huge production or techs adjusting stuff in the background. Just straight guitar, amps pedals and drums, no technological wizardry with the sound. What rock and roll should be. And that BASS! Very impressed with this band, even though I feel kinda awkward being a 50 y/o dude and saying I'm infatuated with them lol. Anyway their talent is phenomenal! Great clip.
The Smashing Pumpkins were my favorite band growing up. I've seen them recently as well, and they sound way better now than they did in the 90s. Their extra guitarist makes a huge difference.
Always wear ear protection at a BAND-MAID show. 7:10 not only will it protect against high volume sound but also wet willy attacks from peeved pigeons. To be fair Kanami was asking for it.
The band has had floor monitors and sidefills at every show so far. Does anyone know if they are using these to monitor in addition to their in ears?....Must be pretty loud on stage
Does anyone know the complete set list for the show? I missed a part of the show mid-way through because leg pain forced me to go find a place to sit down for a while. Searching YT, I found at least fifteen songs uploaded by fans, but Pat McKee's video above is the only one I can place in order.
Okay, so if anyone knows. I was in the balcony stage left, and when Saiki comes out, she pulls like something that looks like a cinnamon stick or pack of gum and puts her lips together on it like she's blotting her lipstick. Any ideas what this is? She did it like 5 times throughout the show. Just curious, never seen a singer do that. 1:55
My favorite band in the WORLD
Mine too!!!!!
Saiki is the damn queen of this band. And the hottest.
How does one put into words the degree of talent and professionalism these ladies exude? I am dumbstruck.
Band.
For me, their compositions and musicianship are on par with the best of all time.

Dang I was at this show. Rail between Saiki and Po. Must be losing my.mind but I remember them entering from opposite side of stage
If you're remembering things wrong,...that means you must have had a really good time!
Thanks HQ video

That's a hell of a way to start a show!

@@mckeepa1 Yeah, I remember my roommate brining home the Gish promo CD the label sent the record store and I was hooked from then on.

OMG! I thought my 80yo dad was the only person that still did wet willies. Nice catch.
Really good sound off of this one. Seems like they've opened with "Sense" and then mixed up the rest of the set.
Sugoi, Pat! Arigatou!!
Fantastic audio quality!
I was hoping to get some miku interaction with the crowd that would be fun to see
Miku was not too far from a tumble off the stage at 6:06
7:11 😳
Very nice video! Thank you! what did you record this with?

There’s a link to all that info on the bandmaid subreddit

Probably a throat spray to protect her chords. She's been singing non stop
maybe a pitch pipe?
Her vocals are getting strained , probably cinnamon stick , has a calming effect !
To help her throat. I hope her voice holds out the rest of the tour

At least as much precision performance as say, the Blue Angels Aerobatic jet team, are they not simply mind-boggling? Much more fun, too!

That’s japanese?
Yes
Do you know"Rolling Quartz"? From Korea.
Not bad but I'll stick with love Live Aquors.
Only the Warning and Lovebites are better in my opinion
