I'm probably one of the oldest people commenting on a Miley clip (40+), so I can tell you that my high school friends & I don't have the same interests & priorities. (IE: I don't have/need a Binny's card.) I value our memories, but I don't think I'm missing out on anything now because we are so different. That's why I really thought this song was so spot on true!

It is kinda crazy seeing this now. I recently watched Miley do that podcast and she mentioned the first man she was ever with, I realized that it was Liam. He was her first, and you can literally see how in love she was with him during this time. It is so crazy how people grow and change. But you could tell towards the end, Liam always had certain values and wanted different things out of life, and it really seemed like he tried to force that on her, and Miley is just a free spirit. They both ended up in different places in their lives and it just wasn't working anymore. They were on and off for 10 years, people keep hoping they will get back together but I honestly don't see it happening. I'd be shocked if they did, maybe now isn't their time, maybe in 10-20 years it will be, who knows.
I just love seeing this, for the memories, for the love they once shared. Looking back on things like this doesn't always have to be sad or have to hurt. It can be beautiful and it is. ❤

Liam finally gave up chasing after her...he really did love her & so did Miley but she is not ready to settle... she is still finding her identity.

@@celestegarcia923 yes exactly...it isn't either of their fault ...they both had 2 different state of mentality so it's only gonna hurt each other if they continue...and for instance if Miley did settle for Liam and have kids...I wouldn't think it'd be a healthy relationship in the long term and probably wud end up in a divorce and their kids wud have to suffer parents splitting.
