*And yeah Egypt I'm not necessarily worried about coz they played poorly but they are very seasoned and like when they lost to Nigeria last year and still made the final, Egypt usually wake up and become gritty once they make it out the groups.
I'll be very interested however to see how Senegal come out coz Senegal could come strong but they could also have a winners hangover like we saw Algeria have last time out. So I'm keeping a keen eye on that one
Dont compare Nigerias game with Ghana. If Equitorial Guinea had scored on Ghana, I can bet $100 they dont equalize. Cape Verde outplayed Ghana but EQU Guinea did not outplay Nigeria.
@@ballercert Not anywhere did I compare the games. I was just joking at how both teams have been unserious in recent tournaments. That's where the joke about the jollof brothers being unserious stems from.
Obviously if you break it down team by team or game by game then the actual issues that both teams have are very different. But that obviously goes beyond the meme. It's like when someone jokes about both United and Chelsea being unserious. Obviously both teams are facing different issues when you analyse it beyond the joke.

In retrospect, if Mozambique actually defeated Egypt and everything else turned out the same, Group B would have pulled a crazier drama of Egypt and Ghana both failing to advance to the Round of 16.

My bro spot on. I follow you now. We knew naija had no defense or midfield before the tourney. For naija I think the coach should ask the goalkeeper to always play the ball into the opponents half so everyone fights there. Nigeria should forget buuild from the back football its a waste of their time. Since the they only half top flight strikers. And everyone should do the attacking and the defending. Lukman in my view really wasn't there. They should also work with long passes if they ever get into a midfield use situation. Short passes waste their time. Lastly when you get in the opponents half remember Maradonas era is gone no team will allow you dribble and dribble before scoring. Once you touch the ball twice, fire a goal with hot shots...the hotter the better. If there's a deflection good, infringement good, corner good because of just that the shot was hot and the keeper punched or parried it to attackers feet. More value for time. What use is possession in passing?

mozambique played an excellent game , egypt lost i think because the full backs and trying to have salah be a godfather figure much like what he is doing at liverpool ,successfully i might add but not so much with egypt , in egypt he needs to be the no 1 priority when it come to building game or finishing a chance ,let face it no one is prolific as salah in egypt ,back in the day we had a monster of a team but now the build up must have salah at the edge of the sword otherwise u will have what u saw in that match .

Not excusing the stupid coach but We wasted a lot of chances. If Zaidu had scored that first early goal and Osimhen scored that one on one. We no for Dey here Dey yan all these things

@@adebayoayeolowo9398 more possessions but what did they do with the ball? Absolutely nothing. Their game plan was to hold on to the ball as much as possible and defend. They literally played for a draw because they know they could easily get a winner in the GB game. If Nigeria wanted to play defensive football and keep possession, we would’ve done that but the mindset was to go all attack and secure the 3pts. Which we should’ve did but things happen.

If u watched the full game, you’ll know that our boys tried. They were just unlucky and EQU Guinea is not a small team. Do u know they beat Tunisia a few months back? They didn’t lose any game in 2023. Plus they had the same points as Tunisia in their afcon qualifier group.
