What amazes me is how high the seafood always is at the beach. You would think it would be more affordable since it is local. This restaurant is always a good choice for us. David loves the broiled flounder. I told David next time I might do the broiled flounder and chicken. He could do the flounder and shrimp again. Then we would share the shrimp and he would eat what flounder I don't eat. They always give you so many of the baby shrimp. Thanks for watching!

It was! Sunday is always a busy day for them. We actually had a late lunch there and they were still busy. We've found getting somewhere when they first open or at a time between lunch and dinner is usually better for videoing.
That broiled flounder looked on point most definitely, will have to try that sometime! When we usually go we do the two can dine as well, I usually do the salt and pepper fish and the deviled crab!
The two can dine is the best deal for us in our opinion. You can't get the broiled flounder on the Sunday menu. David loves the flounder. In fact I told him next time I'll get that as one of my choices so we can share it. He likes the idea of getting more flounder. lol

Those portions looked raelly nice. I'd go fot the shrimp and broiled flounder also. We have a nice place here in currituck called Frog Island seafood. Its really good. They have the best shrimp salad and she crab soup.
Cute name! We always enjoy going here because the food is good and portions are generous. Usually we bring food home for the next day. Wouldn't mind trying Frog Island Seafood.

What a deal on 2 for $25.99, especially since you can get broiled items ! Big portions also! That clam chowder Carly got has made me decide to thaw out and eat my BOSTON CHOWDA I bought yesterday at Harris Teeter! We used to have a seafood restaurant here also called HARBOR INN back in the 80's!
We have some Boston Chowda thawing out now. lol We always get the 2 can dine for $25.99 because the broiled flounder is included. On the Sunday specials the broiled flounder is not included. We enjoy going to Harbor Inn and the portions are huge! I wonder if the Harbor Inn in your area in the 80s was affiliated with this Harbor Inn.
I remember Fass Brothers. There was one on Route 1 near Hybla Valley when I was a teenager. Never went there as my parents weren't seafood lovers. And, neither of the girls I dated back then liked the place. Let's just say that it didn't have a good reputation! I liked the portions on this one. I first thought that David might be a non-conformist and get the chopped steak special. Another good video, God Bless!
As much as David likes a good hamburger steak he is getting seafood here. lol It's always been a favorite of ours. David remembers Fass Brothers but I do not. You need to date seafood lovers. lol

Many decades ago there was a restaurant chain called “Fass Brothers Seafood”. The porthole windows and boat bow cashier desk and architecture make me wonder if this once was one. I could hear the crunch of Cindy’s chicken. Good to know they’re not soggy. I love David’s outlook. What ever Cindy doesn’t eat benefits him! 😂 Cindy was right, that flounder looked good and well seasoned. The clam chowder almost looked like Rhode Island style. Theirs is like New England style but without any cream or milk in it. It’s a bit clearer and not as creamy as the New England style. Still haven’t tried the Manhattan style in the tomato base. ❤
David remembers a Fass Brothers Seafood in Lynchburg. He thinks this is the same building. I did a little research online and I saw a comment from a customer of Harbor Inn stating that she has been coming here for years and that she use to work there when it was Fass Brothers. So we are thinking you are correct. Everything was delicious!

I know that i said it in live chat last Sunday, but i must say more on this lol. You know how you loved the Maine lobster? It's the best in the country.. you guys, when you get to visit Cape Cod and go to one of our best seafood restaurants...i promise seafood anywhere other than New England will never satisfy you again! Try a fisherman's platter, yum. I can list our best restaurants for the best seafood sometime if you'd like 🙂
Would love to hear about the best restaurants. We try to keep lists of restaurants so we know where to go when in a specific area. We definitely need to go to the New England states for a visit.
Oops forgot to say .. I've never had a Hush puppy. I don't really know what they are. All i do know is i want some! 🙃
It is hard to imagine that you haven't had a hushpuppy. In the south it is a staple when you have seafood. It always fascinates me the foods we have never heard of when we go to different areas of this country. Yes, you definitely need to try hushpuppies! Is there any type of bread served with seafood in your area?
Very nice food review! They certainly make sure a person doesn't walk away hungry, don't they? I like that in a restaurant. It looked like a clean establishment with A LOT of photo opportunities (as you found them, and in my opinion, the price was just right. I used to love eating at seafood places. We haven't for a lot of years, but it got my mouth watering for sure. ❤❤❤
This is a gem! Good food, good prices, and nice size portions. Definitely can't beat this place. The photo ops are always fun!
