Lo bueno de este partido es que sirvió para ver que entre suplentes y titulares hay mucha diferencia. Y que Alonso es tan buen DT que hace jugar a cualquiera. Lo bueno eso si es que mantenemos el invicto y vamos por buen camino, pero hay cosas que aun se tienen que mejorar como los pases por ejemplo.

Ademas, no es como si empatáramos con un Estados Unidos mediocre. Empatamos con un Estados Unidos que anda en un buen nivel y con todos sus titulares. Y encima súmale que tanto el esquema como el equipo que trabajo Alonso fueron improvisados antes del partido, ósea no es lo mismo jugar con un equipo con un esquema y jugadores que se conocen de memoria a uno improvisado con jugadores que en si la gran mayoría no tienen química entre si.

I dont like how hard people were to Scally. He got kicked in the face and it was his second cap against two La Liga strikers and later on Edson Cavani. He didnt draw a penalty nor lose mark and made us concede a goal, he was nervous and that is perfectly fine. He is ready for 2022, you all have to give him time to learn the system he will be fine for Qatar and will be at Qatar as Depth.

@@eacruz108 Estás un poquito desubicado. Uruguay alineó un equipo inédito con sólo 2 o 3 titulares (Godín, Jiménez y el no siempre titular fijo Darwin Núñez, y encima Jiménez se lesionó). Fue un partido que Alonso utilizó para probar a los suplentes. Algún titular más ingresó recién alrededor del minuto 60 (Valverde, Pellistri, Cavani).

1) It would create a spectacular international club competition, to rival the UEFA Champions League. It would generate a lot of investment and business for a supercharged Americas Libertadores Cup: Teams from Brazilian league, Argentinian League, Mexican League, MLS (USA) League, etc.
2) Unifying Copa America and Gold Cup in a Supercharged Copa America. A spectacular international national teams competition, similar to the 2016 Copa America, but with more teams.
3) If we don’t do this now, UEFA (European football association) will be a monopoly.
4) There would be more Americas teams in the World Cup, And the World Cup qualification would be super fun

@@jonysaav6759 Nah the entire backline was USA's B/C team, the starting players we were missing is Reyna, Dest, Antonee Robinson, Miles Robinson, Chris Richards, and McKennie played mediocre since he recently got off injury. Cavani and Nunez couldn't score against an MLS backline this is concerning.

I am not a fan of announcers not calling players to ask for not passing. Pulisic's attempt was all about "he got it on his favorite left foot" and the defense closed down the angle. I guess you’ve never played. If you have a guy that’s such a talent, you want some selfish play in front of goal. Not anywhere else, but in front of goal. If you don’t shoot you can’t score and you want guys to have the confidence in front of goal to keep hitting the ball. It also does things to the other teams’ backs like pull them out which can lead to more holes to find or push them in which gives space to take shots or slow down the play when needed.
You’re right tho, our backs are not playing well together. That’s WAY more on GGG’s tactics that don’t make much sense.
Joe Scally was crap. Constantly beaten, out of position, and poor in possession, too. He forced Zimmerman and Long to cover for his mistakes continually, which harmed their own performance.
@@CognizantCheddar yep it was disappointing from him. Hopefully it’s a) he’s young and it’s his first start and b) is just Berhalter’s questionable tactics. Long was not good either though. Bigger problem is the gap that’s left with Berhalter having the opposite outside back either pushed high or sitting in deep. That’s messed up Scally too. He has to fill that space. Berhalter has been having everyone do that and it’s leaving some huge gaps.
