Makes sense more than likely a good practice on a sbe car to pull power before hard limiter also

I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a way to get back into an Instagram account?
I stupidly lost the account password. I would love any help you can offer me!

Thank you for this info! I just killed a motor that lost all oil pressure at 6500 rpms !

Thanks again for taking the time to put these together, I've watched a lot of your videos recently. In your 2D table for oil pressure, I assume you meant to put in -4000 to take away fuel? I just want to make sure I'm understanding things correctly as I should of had this setup for my combo. Thanks for your time.

It is -4000 the cells are small and can't really see it

@@quikn822 the idea is to REMOVE fuel, which is what he said. So if you are negative in fuel flow that's all that matters. If you pay attention to any of devin's videos he stresses not to focus on the numbers on the screen and maybe actually listen to what he is explaining.

Devin, I will say that I am no tuner so please excuse my ignorance but at about 2:15 min on the video where you are doing the fuel flow offset for oil pressure your values at 1800 rpm and up are positive values (adding 4k lbs of fuel to those rpm values) correct? Wouldn't you want that value to be -4000? To knock out the fuel? Or am I looking at that wrong?
P.S. Also to add to this question wouldn't someone want to do this again for each gear, I noticed in the video you showed only gear 1 indicated. Thanks for your videos btw, they are helped me a ton!

yes they would be negative numbers, thought i already corrected this but apparantly i didnt

Thanks for the video man im trying to setup a couple safetys and since im still running a carburetor the only option i have is to cut ignition. Well since ive got a nitrous car im running the 1 bar map sensor and when i try to add the boost config to cut ignition it forces me to change the map sensor to a different one since its not compatible. Can you think of anyway around this or another way to cut ignition completely

  • @suped89

We also use safeties, but not a full cut on power, as it could be dangerous in wheel to wheel racing or on the street.

could explain more on what your goals are then? If the goal is to save the motor, don't you need to cut all power? what's dangerous about it?

Is it OK to setup these safeties, where you're pulling all the fuel out, on a pump gas or c16 engine? Im assuming you use these primarily on methanol cars, not sure about pump gas/c16/gasoline engines.

If removing fuel, what would happen if Im using a dry shot nitrous stage? It would only remove fuel from the table but have the nitrous fuel added still?
