Thanks for the shoutout! I hope you enjoy those warner archive titles, they’ve been doing such an incredible job with new scans and restorations. If you like Dr. X, you should definitely pick up their release of the sister film Mystery of the wax museum. Those are two films that needed proper restoration for decades (they were almost lost) and finally getting those was such an incredible thing. There’s really nothing in the world like them as they are the only two color Technicolor horror films, and have the most eerie quality to them.

I do that as well I combine DVD releases with blu ray releases. It saves space it if they have different cuts of the film on it and you want them all in one place .

Loving all the black and white classics you added to your collection. I have Each Dawn I Die too. Cagney is just great! I find him to be “over the top” in the best way. I love C’mon C’mon so much. I thought it was such a beautiful film with fantastic performances.

I hope you enjoy Robin Hood, it’s a classic and beautiful Technicolor too. Nice one on the Warner Archive blus, I haven’t seen Each Dawn I Die in a very long time.
I understand not being the biggest fan of Riddick: they're terrible movies. 2010 is a good watch, and it's one of those rare 80s movies that has no 80s feel whatsoever. Clarke continued the 2001 franchise for 4 books, and the first one has some topics not in the 2001 movie - namely some insight as to what prehistoric man was thinking during life in the caves.
