@@ChrisWilmshurst yes sir, will do. I use LumaFusion to edit my videos so I’ll be using your tips and tutorials to enhance my video editing for uploads.
Great tips, thanks
Glad it was helpful! hope they all come in handy!
Nice video man.. I 'm learning LumaFusion and this helped a bit. Thanks.
Thanks Scott, check out some of my other tutorials as well, a lot of people have found them useful too!
Thank you for your video. I was able to create so many different things with the Keynote. I was familiar with Pages quite well, though didn’t realised that with a Keynote you can create so much cool stuff. For my level of editing and taking into account that all work I do on the iPad Pro, this is more than enough. However, it takes some extra time to export and this is obviously the price all ipad users pay for portability. Hopefully Lumafusion will give us something more in the future.
It is doable in lumafusion, but with keynote it’s much after and because of the animations they ramp in and give a nice smooth effect with ease
Thanks for the tutorial. I want to experiment with the cropping and time lapse techniques.
Cheers Chris! Cropping is really fun and I'll probably try incorporate it more in the future! See you on Reddit my man!
Add one more to the subscription list. You've already given me an idea on how to tidy up a video I'm working on :)
Awesome! I’m glad you can take things away from this to help with your videos! I’ve got a few other LumaFusion tips too, so be sure to check them out on my channel :)
I learned a lot and I don’t own Lumafusion yet! Thanks 🙏 New Sub Earned!
You're going to love editing on it when you get it.
Thank you so much! I’m editing my first video tomorrow!
Good luck with it! Glad I could be of some help!
I cannot say it again but I have to 😄 thanks for the work you put out for free! It is really helpful a reminds me of those good old days when we all used to work with Keynote and iMovie 😂.
Haha no problem Raphael, I wouldn't be caught dead trying to sell a course for something so simple. More people benefit when things are freely available!
And together we can collaborate for the greater good!
Ah see now this is a just a daaaaamn good video. Talk about value! Do you plan to do more lumafusion tips and tricks? Ah just standing O man! Cheers. Sub’d!!!
Many more planned for the future :)
Liked before watching cuz i was sold at the title of this video!
I hope you at least watched all of it 😂
Chris Wilmshurst thats not even a question, i watched all of it!
Don’t forget to check out the others :) got more on the channel
Waouh this man is a monster this is crazy
Haha, thanks! Check out the other stuff I put out!
Thank you so much for this video! I used these techniques on my latest video and I think it turned out great! All these effects worked amazingly and I was only using an iPhone to film. Thanks so much for your tips!
Nice
where did you get the ipad vector graphic?
thanks!
Good video
Awesome tips man, great video!
I’d recommend more screen real estate for the iPad, and less overlay decorations :)
I find myself squinting to read the screen when watching on the 12.9” 🤓🤓
And I hope that wasn’t just a fake whiskey glass 🥃🥃🌵 😂🍻
@@TheYahn Haha it was actually Ameretto :) and yeah, it's something i'll be working on when I get round to a new video on LumaFusion :)
Tanks 👍
Thanks for such great information. I’m having a lot of trouble taking pictures on the iPhone and video on the iPhone and bringing it into LumaFusion and having to adjust the images and video to fit the movie. I’m guessing that I should set the images, video, and project aspect ratios to the same before importing. Do you have any other thoughts? Thank you
Ideally if you’re making a video you should go with the 16x9 aspect ratio for your video (or 2:1 if you want it like this video was shot) and then I’d resize them or try design a template to display the images in a more appealing way than zoomed in photos
Hi, can i use Lightroom on my iPad pro to do the overlay and exporting IT to luma fusion? How?
This guy need a-lot more subscribers
Haha thank you, feel free to spread the word 😂
Cool
Really nice video ! Helpful in many ways. I got a question : which software do you use to edit and copy/paste the settings to multiple raw images before export them to jpg and then import into LumaFusion ?
I’m using lightroom for all my photography edits! It’s a great photography app, but I’m not entirely sure if you need a license for the iPad version (I have a creative cloud subscription for work)
Subbed if you keep these luma vids coming ,,, cheers shane uk 🇬🇧
Sorry Shane, I won’t be producing any more as the program is too limited in its functions. I may make divinci resolve videos when that releases on iPad, but unfortunately there will not be anymore lumafusion ones
I’ll still keep subbed and watching buddy , good reference, also been using shotcut on my windows laptop , not a bad video editing piece of software for free, cheers shane uk 🇬🇧
Literally watching this video for ages before I realised the video being edited at the beginning is my home town……lmao
Used to visit ludlow a lot for work! Glad you've connected with the video haha
Hii nice tips. Thank you. I have a request, please can you make a video on how to add text behind the moving object/subject in lumafusion?
I’ll take a gander when I get some free time and see what I can come up with
Thanks Chris super useful. I’m a subscriber and love these tutorials, but hope you don’t mind a bit of feedback. I wish the iPad was full screen so I could see what you are doing better. I’m fine with losing the plant for this lol. I’m on a phone and it’s tricky to see.
But the plant!! Haha, I’ll take note next time.
Chris Wilmshurst lol your videos are great and of course up to you. I just had the same comments when I started doing my tutorials. Thanks from the reply :-)
Nice wrk
Thanks!
Love your knowledge … one question for you as I’ve just started lumafusion I want to film in in different frame rates on drone and GoPro 60fps 30fps 24fps 120fps for slowing down and speed ramps but to look cinematic on export but don’t want no jitters what advice would you give on the starting fps time line in luma ?
You’ll always have to set the project to the lowest fps, so in this case 24p, I’d only ever slowdown 120p and 60p footage, I wouldn’t risk it with the 30 and 24 as it would look choppy.
@@ChrisWilmshurst thanks for your speedy response….. yes I was only going to slow down 60p/120p so that’s great thanks I don’t suppose you know where I can get drag and drop transitions for lumafusion especially for B-rolls (professional look) as a lot of these on lumafusion are very insta/Facebook as I’m looking for more cinematic for my videos ?
Wait at 2:14 where did this backdrop come from? I never seen this before on my end
You need to make it yourself. It’s explained in the video ;)
Trying to learn video editing ang looking for a better one.
Hi Chris, thank you. I need to ask, on 2:20 during which app you did green canvas?
That’s photoshop
@@ChrisWilmshurst thank you 🙏
How did you bring that pointer on your screen using Apple Pencil wherever you click? That blue one
It's in the LumaFusion settings.
@@ChrisWilmshurst I found it, Thanks
How did you put your luma fusion interface in dark mode ?
It’s the default for me
Silly question but how do you turn on the cursor that shows where you're tapping with the ipencil
it's in the overall LumaFusion settings.
@@ChrisWilmshurst okay and is there a way to enable a hover cursor or something which I can use to emphasize on something which actually tapping the pencil
You can use a Bluetooth mouse on iOS / iPad pad that will display a cursor on screen
Hi. Is there a way of adding reverb to the audio?
Try using a program like ferrite, I’ve never dived into the audio tools in lumafusion as I try get it as close to best on camera
Great video, I’ve just started editing videos and only have a iPad so am using LumaFusion. What is the Facebook group you mentioned?
Thanks for taking the time to watch, I've got a few other videos here which you might find useful! czcams.com/play/PLLdkoe5uNVvuZzyAXUEv7juEaODTswE0d.html
Regarding the Facebook group, if you search LumaFusion on Facebook and filter by groups, it's the group with the most followers. It's a great resource for beginners and a great community.
Chris Wilmshurst thank you Chris I’ll check the other videos out. I think I’ve joined the right Facebook group 👍🏻
Thanks again
Nic
what apps did you used for the ipad template?
I believe at the time I was using affinity photo or photoshop. It was a long time ago, but either will work :)
Thank you, Chris. Credit preset is possible? If I order one Time this credits preset, can I use at other videos also?
I did already, it's possible :-)
Not sure what you’re on about as there’s no presets 😅.
