    Your hair is gorgeous. Of course your brows are beautiful too. I’m wondering if you’d share how often you have your long locks trimmed and perhaps you could do a video showing a few ways you style your long silver locks. I live in FL and have long silver hair but I struggle with ways to wear it when it is too humid or when I’m working outside or exercising. I try to be careful not to get too much breakage bc, as you mentioned, the longer ends are the most dry and brittle. So happy to have found your channel. Thanks

    I really appreciate you supporting long hair and grey hair on mature women. There was a post from a very beautiful YTuber a couple of years ago who said once you reach a certain age, you need to keep your hair shorter and even colored because it makes you look younger. I made a long post about how beautiful mature women looked with long grey hair and encouraged her to research it and to not discriminate. While my hair isn't short, I haven't felt encouraged to keep it as long as yours because of how thin my hair is. I probably have as much hair as you and your hair looks beautiful to me so I'm going to grow it. I wish I had as much silver as you. I'm older than you, but unfortunately I haven't greyed all that much. I remember going to a more progressive hair dresser back in the day and asked her if she would dye my hair silver before it was a thing. She said NO! She said she spends all day covering grey and she wasn't going to give me grey hair. I have my father's non-grey pigmentation unfortunately.

    I never had any intention of going grey but when the lockdown came last March I have been leaving my hair to do its own thing. I feel so liberated from dying it every 6weeks & I don’t think I will ever go back. Most of the reaction from my family and friends have been positive. Thank you for sharing your tips for the care & management.

    Thank you for this video ! I found it very helpful 😊 I turned grey when I was 12 years old, so I started doing highlights since then, I’m almost 35 and still dying my hair once in 3-4 months, they are very damaged... maybe it’s a good time to let it just grow... because of your recommendation I started taking Nutrafol a month ago, just finished my first bottle, and very excited to see results in couple of months. So, thank you! 🙌🏻 already made a list to buy other products😊 and I agree about Kerastase purple shampoo, I use it for about 10 months already, not on regular basis , only once in 3 weeks, because it gives that lavender tint😊 thanks again 🙏🏼

    Hi Roxanne, I am starting today to stop dying my hair. I too was a model back in the 90's and then had my family and used dyes at home and then henna, so not to use chemicals. I have decided in this lock down to take the chance to do this( I did do it 5 yrs ago and got quite a way with it then dyed it again). I too want to be me,be what I am and I am excited about the journey, a long journey I know. Thank you for the video x

      Hi Lolita. I'm so glad you found my channel, too! The wide tooth comb you ask about is a great and helpful tool. I've had it for years and I don't remember where I got it. There is nothing written on the comb to identify it. I'm so sorry I can't steer you to a place so you can get one for yourself. In general, though, a wide tooth comb is great to own and you should be able to find other kinds online. Thanks so much for your comment and interest!

    It's very pretty. I love when mature women don't cut their hair off short. I love long hair and have had long hair all my life. Just recently cut my since 4 mths into my transitioning mine was down to waist.

    My grey hair got so thin and brittle it wont grow past my shoulders. I tried olaplex and expensive hairmasks and it helps but not enough to make my hair strong. I decided to keep my routine minimal and keep my hair down to my shoulders because it just doesnt work for me.🥺

    • @roxmod
      @roxmod  Před rokem +1

      Hi there! For hair growth you might want to try mixing a several drops of pure sandalwood oil with pure almond oil and massage into your scalp. Sandalwood helps with hair growth but is too strong on its own so be sure to mix it with almond oil, which is nourishing for the scalp and hair. All the best!
