While Raptor Vacuum is very good and advanced, I think it still needs more time and development its quite clear that the sea level Raptor is the main focus. Also Raptor Vac vs BE-3U is the correct comparison for Blue Origin NG. Raptor Vacuum, (Isp) 380s and BE-3U is actually at (Isp) 445s So... BE-3U is roughly 17% MORE efficient over the current Raptor vac.
What I really want to see is these engines with turbo pumps to shut down and re light in space. That has not been done. That would be impressive and if not catastrophic

I expected to see some news about Blue Origin's and NASA's vacuum engines having issues while SpaceX was leaving them in the dust. It was just a video of how vacuum engines work. It didn't even need to be about the Raptor vacuum engine. They could have talked about vacuum engines in general, because they all work the same way in atmosphere and in vacuum.

There’s just one problem. The raptor has yet to have a successful run without any failures. It’s still having relight issues. The raptor 3 hopefully has fixed many of these issues we will see. But until then, the BE4 is the only approved PRODUCTION methane engine in the USA. Raptor is still a prototype with numerous issues

Its also an inconvenient configuation for landing cargo and passengers in primitive conditions. My guess is we arent far time wise from seeing other competitors get traction. And see an expansion in space related concepts. Theres new blood coming, Not just a legacy game. And NASA & Boeing are showing weakness. Business is a form of warfare. Most likely what we witness will be like a Fabonacci sequence of expansion in Space Endeavours. And before SpaceX can decamp from Starship thinking, others will be accelerating. It will likely start as a spinoff of cheap lift. More startups able to do more things, and SpaceX making scads off volume sales, like the Walmart of lift services. Eventually there will be money green with Envy, that begins to compete with SpaceX for market share. And before Elon can get enough mass to Mars for a sustainable Colony, there will be in Earth orbit construction of dedicated transit ships wether its SpaceX or not. And some will have more efficient drive systems than primitive chemical reactions. And as life support systems improve, time in space will become meaningless. Will just be another location humans live and take for granted. At first, likely rotation of personel, later rotation of ships. The main thing thats gonna be necessary is vessules and hulls. Engines will be secondary in comparison. Its a good time to be in the fabrication industry. And Machinists will do exceptionally well also. Coding will likely limit out some, as the weak points of micro processor and software overloading become apparent. Starliner is your first clue.. they need weeks to load and check software, they just happened to omit, that does a job a monkey could do. And deep Space is a long ways from replacement micro processors. And anybody with a survival prone brain will be eyeing microprocessor count as a risk factor. Personally would want a Sextant and slide rule for a back up. And totally manual control as the primary system. Other wise, "Stuck in Space" will be the new TV show, that replaces Lost in Space...
