Hey, I always felt like that my movement is bad and I want to improve it just in general like dodging, I tried to use some workshop maps that can make me see my own character and how I am moving but I always felt like midgame that my movement is being against me and not actually help me so, do you have any tips on how to improve my movements?
I always heard that AD crouch spam is the best way to dodge shots but whenever I try I feel like I’m doing it wrong and making me a free kill(I don’t do fast AD)

Edit: I just had to add in because I saw some of the comments on this. Like somebody accusing your team of using xim... Somebody else also wanted last gen to go against PC!? Which is just... Stupid. As If current gen isn't already at a disadvantage. There were some others, but I hope they saw what you put at the end of the video, because some people seem quite mad about this.

I wonder how many top 500 console players use a Xim or things of that nature. Does anyone know? A Xim is an external device that you plug-in a controller, keyboard and mouse. It essentially gives aim assist with MnK aim. Ik it was really bad in OW1 a reason why I stopped playing tbh.
At least 50-70% of the Top 500 DPS category are ximming, it's ridiculous how no one (Consoles or Blizzard) has cracked down on it. Theoretically it would be really easy to tell WASD movement at the very least (octo-directional movement) but I know some xim players who play hybrid (controller to move, mouse to aim) which devs wouldn't be able to consistently detect without something like machine learning.
@@JustTodd24 God it's still that bad? No wonder quick play has been ass to play recently. The ximming sourjirns and widows are ridiculous right now. Sadly I don't think there is a way to crack down on it. It's honestly up to the console manufacturers to implement a way to detect external plugins. But hell if we ever see that day. I wish they'd just straight up console ban players like how R6 has been doing.
@@simplexius9250 Its not even the fact that it's mouse vs controller that makes me mad tbh, it's the fact that it has gotten to the point of literally cheating. Besides mouse with aim assist, theres macros that allow them to completely remove recoil from all characters, reload with perfect timing, perfect Ashe scope/unscope spam for max dps, etc. It's practically a point and click adventure over there.
Playing against Baptistes with 10000 damage in QP who never miss a single headshot is so fun! If this was on PC they would've already been banned, but no it's console so cheaters don't exist. I really can't expect anything less of a game that won't even provide a deadzone slider for us lmao; it's obvious neglect.
I've been accused a ximming more times than I can count, and it just feels like shit for a skill that you've worked on for years to be undermined by people who buy a $200 "I win" USB.
I don't think this is a problem that will ever be solved, controller emulation takes much less effort than it's detection, and it seems like everyone is moving away from controller in general albeit slowly. I do hope for a solution, but its not looking good...

no, and this proves it. The two play very different. Movement is different, ttk is different, tracking is veeeeeeerry different, flicks dont really happen on controller.
It would be like having a ball hockey league compared to an ice hockey team, They are both playing hockey, rules are the same, but the game plays very different and they shouldnt be mixed
you can tell the difference between console and PC just by movement, peek timings, and the weird camera movement. Watching console play looks weird and everyone's movement is different due to the different input device. Interesting to see this finally settled. They are two different games, neither is better, and it would destroy all competitive integrity to mix them

@@fries6612 well there is no reason to. M&K is completely dependent on the user, controller is not, they shouldn't compete and be taken as equal. Not saying one is easier or harder, just 2 different things. Most serious PC players realize that console have the ADV with auto aim but will feed without it, its a settled issue and no one really gets upset anymore. There is no sense is doing the whole "which is harder" thing, cause you can actually test it now, and with auto aim enabled you just get bodied by controller players, without auto aim they have no chance in hell of hitting you
@@thepoofster2251 auto aim?? Overwatch has absolutely horrendous aim assist i have my shit turned down to half effective ness idk where you enable that autoaim setting or wtv, also when you're in crossplay with pc your aim assist gets toned down i believe.
@@Dark-tu4st aim assist, my bad. The crossplay disable of aim assist was disabled last patch so this game has aim assist. Also, what makes it horrendous? aim assist is a very simple thing and its almost the same in every game. OW lest you select sens of the assist which is more than most games do so i would have to disagree
