Hearing Matt trying to say French words always gets me 🙈 "aw-guu do mih-dee" 🙈🙈
I love how they are both fanboying the coarse granite up there.
Loving the ‚Warm Up‘ 8a :D
That was great to watch. I enjoyed this vid. Thank you.
beautiful!
looks amazing!
Awesome Video, more like this please!
Best video in a while 👍
Cracking content!
I was just there and I was wondering where are all of these climbers going to - summitting mt blanc? But this explains it, would love to go sport climbing there myself
Is it still an on-sight if you
e watching videos of the beta?
no
edit: It'd be a flash. Unfortunately "flash" has become confused in the popularity of bouldering, where it is used differently.
On-sight: literally that. You approach a route for the first time, see it for the first time, gather your own beta while climbing it, yet finish it without so much as falling from the starting holds.
Flash: You gather beta heavily, or see someone climb it before you, and then make the moves yourself without falling.
Work through: You made all the moves but have not linked them yet.
Redpoint: You finally finish a route in one go after more than one attempt.
Repeat: You reclimb a route you have already finished once before.
I recently repeated "Laura's Stern", but on full trad instead of using the optional bolts like before. Not sure if that has any name.
No, it is a flash.
Beautiful
Matt Groom as David Attenborough in Climbing on our planet
Wow
The air is part of the grade though...
That looks hard for an 8a.
The film gets better after that horrible voice over crap.
I hate how young kids now always try to pout an angry face and a "do not thread on me" attitude instead of moderate, approachable and generous character as in the 1970's like Chris Bonnington was.
It makes the whole atmosphere toxic and artificial.
