Thanks for the tips. Do you know more about the "Gates" which are used by Spotify? I don`t understand the 2. Gate. cheers, H
Great video!! Awesome tips that are unknown to us newbie producers. Q. When you say add a slight fade-in on the beginning of a track and a regular/ necessary fade-out on the end of a track are you talking specifically on every track in the song or just the beginning and ending tracks? Q Do you add a fade to a track that is used as a transition (i.e. track A is (a quiet instrumental) the intro to the song, track B is a transition (sound effect or whatever) to track C which could be a louder instrumental, vocal or whatever)? Q. If one creates say 10 different pieces of music over the course of a few months. Then decides they could put several of those songs together and make an EP or album. Should one pull all those tracks together in one session re-mix/master them like you mention to make them all the same levels, etc. for the EP/Album (since they were not mix/mastered together originally because they were created at different times and not created to be an album) or don't put them together on a album/ EP? Cheers!!🥂
Everything is on point! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you. Great tips!
I just updated to Logic Pro 11 and the Stem Splitter is an amazing tool for referencing and learning. Game changer. Great tutorial!!.
Hi Sam, great video as always! I have a problem this doesn't have anything to do with the topic in this video but about recording vocals in logic. Every time I start a recording by pressing R and end a recording pressing R my 2 track audio instrumental sounds cut out for about a second or two and then continues. I can't fix the problem I have the record track record enabled and it still does this.
Great Video! Thanks a lot!
