Neat trick with the progress bar
Woah! I was not expecting this tutorial to be hand sewn one! Loved it. Subscribed!
Himani U, thank you! It's because my biggest priority is making these tutorials accessible to beginners, so I try to include as many hand-sewn, no-sew, and step-by-step explanations as possible :)
Great idea using the paper as a guide! I'm working on a jacket, and I was having trouble figure out how to make sure the two pieces still matched up. Thanks for this!
Glad to help! I love using the paper technique for curves, - it feels easier than trying to curve the measuring tape.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you. I don't understand why most tailoring tutorials begin by cutting up the original--that's like starting with a blank sheet of cloth! Sew, then cut--that's the easiest strategy especially for people who aren't experts (like me).
Great video and all the more because you did this sewing by hand. It's becoming harder to find ones like this.
This is so helpful. I've always wanted to alter my clothing without a sewing machine
Thanks so much for the video - I am going to try this right now!

Wow, the menu at video's bottom is genius
Did not expect you to hand sew it!haha but I'll try this, and use a sewing machine instead.
Thank you!!! Just what I needed!
Thank you! Well done.
so entertained while learning
From boxy to foxy is a good tutorial also for tee shoulders.
Did you sew all the way around on the seam? It looks like your ruler marks were wider than what you chalked in the beginning?
Super and thanks to show easy way
What's your biggest problem area with clothing? Post it in the comments and I'll try to come up with a DIY fix!

Glad to Help!
Paper part is so smart!
Thank you! I often just grab what is around me, and make it work. It makes you very resourceful.
Better to cut out sleeves, also the stitch you are discribing is back stitch
your brother is so kind honestly mashalla ; less number of brothers can do that to there sisters
Yes he's wonderful :)
this video is amazing!!!! did you notice any issues with the stretchiness of the tshirt?
if you just do that wouldn't it make the bottom the the sleeves pull up like in the after pic? anyways to prevent it?
I mean after that happens you can just sew the bottom of your sleeve to tighten it to your preference
Do you mean the sleeves are too loose? I have another video on how to tighten it, linked it in my description box.
Thank ypu!!! This was really helpful!!
Moni S glad you found it helpful! If you let me know your other clothing problems, I'll do my best to make a tutorial for them. 🤣
Do you pin both of the sides? (Front and back)
Yes!
Scrappy Treasures Thank you :)))))
Tat boy is so cute.nice tutorial..thanks
That's what I tell him haha - hope you learned something from the tutorial :)
Very nice video thank you very much jai hind
Ty, great tips.
You're welcome, I'm glad to help :)
I have a lab gown and the part of the shoulders are big
Since it's an important work outfit, I would have a tailor (or someone you know who's good at sewing) alter that for you. I would definitely start by practicing this technique on less important t-shirts, until you are confident you have the skills down.
It looks like you are not cut shirt shoulder but hand..
um does anyone know how to loosen the shirt??? i look like thanos wtf
*Thanks Akka...?* are you தமிழ் ?* *Subscribed*
Hahaa yes. But I can only speak/understand, I can't read/write.
@@ScrappyTreasures let's talk about CZcams channel..
Cool tutorial but yeah it definitely looks worse now. Pointy instead of smooth? Maybe too small?
Hmm, I bet it's because I didn't alter the sleeves yet. Check out the part 2 of this tutorial I linked in the description, and lemme know if that helps.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Was there really a change ?
Very difficult way. Not feasible for beginners
i would say this is very easy, and i’m totally a beginner
Looks worse
Yea I thought that
Just wear the smallest shirt that can fit. Simple
Or, just don't buy tshirts that are cut too wide!
