Hey guys ,,, here is another tip regards Tropical Plants. Yes I am from a Tropical Country in the Southern Caribbean. Yes I grow them too and have them on my balcony. Best Palm for indoors : #1-Areca Palm really beautifull Palm , #2 is the Kentia Palm really nice Palm for indoors and grows well too. #3 Cat Palm or Parlour Palm. Keep in mind you must look at the area in your home or space you will be putting the specific Palm , like how much light , the direction of the Sun and hours of Sunlight or inderect lights. Then you can go out and buy a Palm that will best suite your particular space.They do not like to be moved up several times to different areas as with any plants once they adjust to that space they grow accordingly. Last by not least STAY CLEAR AWAY from Majesty Palms,,,, they are not the very best palms for everyone at all. Most times they die fast. Most big stores do not tell customers this because they want to make fast money that is why they are cheap in the first place.They are mostly decorative plants by temporary too.Yes I know quit a bit about plants I was a Preacher daughter who was a farmer. Omg, I am also plant killer, and I love them so much, but they die to me all the time, and my friends told me to get some succulents because it is not so easy to kill them, and I my succulents died too, so thank you for this video, I hope that one that I buy recently won't die on me because of you :)

I also suggest buying a meter for soil wetness, they're super cheap on Amazon and might help with the colder months moving in too and it getting easier to over water! I think they're maybe $5-$8?
I used to put sticky notes on any new plants with instructions so I wouldn’t forget. I also put scheduled reminders into my phone just on a to do list.

Just spoke about one plant and how to care for that one. So the title is quite misleading. This is not a 101 on tropical plantS just one plant.
Coco Mademoiselle I think you can apply the potting instructions to an tropical plant? Hopefully I'm not wrong. I like taking my plants that are dying to a local plant nursery and they give really good tips :) Maybe just try that!
I agree. I think my takeaway from this video was how to properly pot a plant and urged me to talk to an experienced nursery and do more research about proper plant care based on the individual plant.
You may already know this but your pothos plant can be trimmed and rooted in water to make so many more and FREE plants. In my mind it's one of the best ones out there for so many reasons! :)
fyi majesty palms are cheap because they are so finnicky! i recommend yucca palms, snake plants, pothos that are insanely easy! another tip is to cut your pothos plants at their nodes and stick them in water. they grow / take root instantly in water & no care involved!
My tip would be stay away from palms... they tend to attract spider mites which eventually kill them... I honestly have a green thumb but two of my palms were killed by spider mites... the WORST PART!!.... these mites can spread into your other plants and kill them... fortunately that did not happen with me :D.... also you should spray spearmint, peppermint or Rosemary oil mixed with water on your plants to save them from infestations.

Really loved this video because I struggle with killing my plants all the time lol! Although it was super informative about the fiddle leaf i wish there would have been a little annotation about other plants care that are more common like succulents/cacti, ivys and palms but overall really enjoyed this style of video and hope you continue with it :)
I have the same problem with my plants dying! I found that if the air vent blew on them when the air/heat was on it would kill them fast... sad part is that most air vents are under a window D: Otherwise, this video was SUPER helpful!!! Thank you!!!!!!!
Metryann M Christine Kobzeff's channel has great videos on their care and understanding watering. I have yet to kill a succulent since her interpretation on watering advice. She has a good one on orchids as well.
