now we gotta get these tennis players to stop moaning after lightly tapping a plastic ball lmao
You love a good moan
Turns out they really enjoy it!
I’m a pickleball player and I sound just like them.
As a tennis player turned Pickleball player, this shit was hilarious guys, keep crashing tournaments, I wanna see y’all win a medal!
Haha thank you so much! Will definitely join more. We’re winning one of these for sure ;)
Steven needs to start hitting the ball over the net then maybe we'll get somewhere in these tournaments ;)
so you went from playing chess to playing checkers. most of us move up in life, you move back. nicely done.
What a life you must have pal
My favorite part is learning that the totality of pickleball coaching is just saying, "hit balls in the middle " as much as possible. 😂🤣😆🤣😂😂
Hahahah
Never, Never do a music overlay again! Comments and sounds during the matches are THE BEST part.
Hahahaha noted
C’mon, the opera was pretty good. 😂
Hahaha thank you
Don’t worry about being too apologetic for hitting someone. Most competitive players know it is a legit strategy and won’t be upset. It’s their fault for not reacting fast enough. Also, if the opponents yell right when you are about to hit it, you can call a fault on them. It is rare for people to make that call but in a tournament it is a fair call because yelling and making you miss is against the rules
Love it hahaha
In January last year, I enrolled for the advanced tournament at Lifetime for my friend (who was the organizer). It was my second time touching the paddle, and I won the tournament pretty easily. I was a D1 lvl tennis player, and I have played the sport for about 20 years. And, I got a fun story, a good friend of mine (who I played against in college and won in a crazy match) is now N1 in America. His name is Federico Staksrud.
Yeah clearly that wasn’t our experience

Stevie at the net is a big problem hahaha he has no mercy
Lol
Noah I need to see you on the picklball court asap
this killed me! 🤣 I relate to the pain so hard. The smugness when pickleball players beating tennis players is is unbearable
It sucks hahahaa
To be fair, tennis players on every social media post ever do nothing but talk about how they would dominate any pickleball player at any level
@JTGA38NG and honestly, they do. ONCE they learn how to play pickleball and aren't just trying to play tennis on a smaller court with paddles 😂
@@GotHoai I mean sure at an amateur level. Tennis is a great background but it still takes a year or two to get to a high level pro from tennis. Look at Jack Sock he’s been playing for 5 years and is far from dominating
Always fun seeing tennis players freshly transition over to pickleball. Once you guys stop trying to play pickleball like tennis and start learning strategy, you both will be a problem.
We need some pointers! Appreciate you supporting the channel
@@JustSlapTenniswork on dinking. Every ball you're just slapping net high at the net person. In tennis you can counter balls that drop low over the net by being on top of the net, but if you're off the net you have to hit a more defensive volley. Same thing in pickleball except you can't get on top of the net. When you're serving you wait until your partner has a good enough dink to get to the net. (Aim for the shoelaces) If they hit a shit shot don't approach until they have to dink back. Same thing when you're both at the net, you got lucky that the people you were playing were not particularly good, but a player that can control the low shots and force you to make mistakes will kill you.
Also, learn how to stack. It's what the 3rd guys you played were doing. It's super easy and always gets you on your preferred side so you're not fighting over middle balls based on who has a forehand.
I play both tennis and pickleball every week, and I really love both. And to be honest, I'm tired of a lot of tennis player's superiority complex over pickle ball. The more you play, the more you understand that these are different games in the racket sport genre. Yes, pickle ball is easier to learn, but at the highest level its completely different from tennis. I actually recently bought eye protection for pickleball because kitchen blocks/volleys against kitchen smashes can be very scary and dangerous.
Great attitude! I play with a lot of tennis players and they love both sports. But our area its much easier to find pickleball groups. And yeah, as you get better and play better ppl, the game totally evolves, gets much faster, more agresssive and at the same time, softer and harder. So different then tennis
Oof, feel bad for the opponents! When another player starts getting visibly frustrated like that mid match it throws me off too.
Big tennis energy, the grunts were hilarious!
Keep it going!
Thanks for the support :)
So funny man 😂. More please, I’ve never enjoyed watching Pickleball until seeing this, as far as sports content goes this is gold! No sleep till medals boys 😅
Thank you so much really appreciate the support!! We will never stop haha
hahhahaha so cute . Steven never fails to make me laugh real hard
That man is an absolute psycho
Definitely need more of these videos!
Pickleball, or in other words: don’t ace me, pass me, drop shot me, or lob me. Lifetime literally paved over all our tennis courts here for pickleball because any noob can play and overpay. There has been a mass exodus of real tennis players here and lifetime just says bye because they can’t handle the capacity in the first place👋
Lifetime's a business and they make more money on Pickleball. It's smart
There's like one meta here. Just camp by the net.
Basically haha
Coming from tennis this is so relatable! I love it!
Thank you for the support!
More of these please! You have a new subscriber now!
Thank you so much for the support! More of these to come :)
🐐content! Love this hahaha
Thank you so much :)
Good effort gentleman. Great content! We need some lessons from Max in a video.
For sure hahaha
Great idea!!
I'm not good at pickleball and never played tennis but this video was hilarious!
Jacob…you’re a legend
Great video!
Thank you for the support
Tennis player here, once i figured out that it's "not tennis" ! I started whooping ass in PB.
We still need to figure that out haha
@JustSlapTennis yep. In tennis just hitting a good shot will usually win the point. In PB controlling the ball in the kitchen is key, then pulling out the tennis shot to finish the point. Tennis is beautiful chess, PB is grimey checkers! Lol
@@ctbsancho2516 Actually it's the other way around. Tennis is far more about sheer athleticism, in that you can compensate for imperfect strategy by better fitness and striking the ball better than your opponent. In pickleball shot selection is more important than shot execution, so you can compensate for physical inferiority by superior strategy. That's why you often see 80 year old women punking young 20-something tennis guys who have fine mechanics but no clue how to play pickle. (well, we didn't see it in this video because those 2 ladies didn't know how to play pickleball for shit). In light of these points, pickle is more like chess.
@@LowDinksHijinxPickleballyou’re over complicating pickleball. There’s a reason it’s much easier to reach a 5.0 in pickleball than tennis.
@@Yungdil That's not even a counterargument. You're just saying "nuh uh!" Are you an expert in pickleball? Because I played both sports at a high level (Varsity #2 in singles at a D2 university in tennis, 4.5 in pickleball currently). and I can say without a doubt that strategy is a far more influential factor than sheer athletic performance in pickleball versus tennis. And it's not even close really.
Quality content a+
Thank you for not kicking us out haha
Steven is very corporate America
Not true at all
so corporate oh my god
"They're doing some crazy formations" (ie Stacking). Leftie here who stacks and that made me laugh as it's just one more bizarre element to pickleball that makes it fun.
Yeah we had no idea what was going on lol
Third shot drop!
Ty legend
Also... "This sport is so not s*x." That's hilarious. 😂
It’s really not!
@@JustSlapTennis It's barely an hj in the back of the car before 5th period.
It's really not
im not alone, subscribed
Legend thank you
Kid in the white shirt was cooking
Love this
Thank you!!
This was great! lol
Thank you haha
Like if you think the Just Slap team should do a part 2 at Life Time
1000%
Steven: You can talk in the middle of the point?
Also Steven in the middle of points: Aarrrrggghh, Ahhhhh, Aaarrggg, Ahhh, Ahhhhhh, Ahhhrgghhh
Hahahaha
I’m not a fond of pickleball but watching this is so funny 👏
Thank you so much!!
The one guy had legit tennis stroks, but the big mouth guy who grunts with every stroke is definitely not a tennis player..
You’re so right
I'm glad someone noticed
Rafa’s burner account in full effect 😂
Congrats y’all beat some Susan’s in a rec tourney, play some real comp tennis bros 😭
😭😭😭💀💀💀
challengers 2: pickleball coming next summer
Boom
PT 3 we’re taking gold
For sure no doubt about it
100%. Maybe an easier draw next time Max
Have you guys played Padel? I would be surprised if you don't get addicted to it
Played it a couple of times. Really fun!
Great video!! Awesome content!
More pickleball videos. If you ever want to come to the Bay Area and shoot content hit me up!
Appreciate the support man thank you
I think many of the players playing pickleball are from tennis anyway, you'll be right at home if you stick with it!
I really hope so haha. It sure didn’t feel like it lol
Finally!!!!! ❤❤❤
Long time coming!
this is gold
Thank you so much
Put David into the game!!!!
It would be over if he hoped in!
Good shit boys
Thank you bro appreciate the support
Sad. I really thought tennis players would crash pickleball players in pickleball… now I gave to degrade tennis players
This is like the tennis trolls who tell every pickleball video that they suck and that they would destroy everyone in pickleball because tennis players are better. Like most people who are good at pickleball also came from tennis so its not like as a tennis player you are going to come whoop up on pickleballers. Thats like saying you would destory ping pongers because you play tennis.
Educated swing guys! I wish we could play a match on the real sized courts ;)
It’d be game over haha
You should try padel
Woahhhh thts an idea right there
the second team is barely 3.0 and they are playing yalls. Its unfair to them.
It’s ok we got smashed the rest of the games lol
entertaining as h
Thank you so much
You guys dont have much of a soft game. But you do have the talent for PB.
Thank you
6:58 lol kitchen fault brooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, your racket touched the kitchen
hahaha 9:30 too
You think anyone caught that hahaha
@@JustSlapTennis Meh, just continue playing lol
The grunts distracted them
I would love to play you and teach both of you how to perform better
So you are both a tennis expert AND a pickleball expert?
Yes please Steven needs a lesson
Half volley softly into the opponent’s kitchen/other team’s feet. Half volleys are a skill that translates well from tennis. Your opponents are punishing you all popping it up
Yessir! Thank you :)
What’s your tennis level exactly? I'm really not trying to shame you, but I’d expect a little bit more dexterity, even if the pickleball dynamics is rather different.
D1 college tennis. Was that dive not dexterous enough for you?
6:49 That's a fault, you can't let your paddle touch the ground inside the kitchen after hitting a volley because otherwise you could use your paddle to help push yourself out of the kitchen. Good shot though, its high level awareness to play big on the left and take that ball. Good thing they won that point anyway. Similarly the volley you hit at 9:18 is also a fault, kitchen rule applies to your body. Not trying to be an asshole btw just trying to educate, because both faults were avoidable if you knew the extent of the rule. Also watch the serve when you are the person standing at the kitchen line at service because Alex should have called the serve at 12:45 a mile out. To finish off the guy who talked to you at the end wasn't just gassing you up, if you guys stick with it for any amount of time and learn a bit more of the strategy and finesse of pickleball yall will be a problem on court for a lot of people.
Appreciate the feedback brother 🤝
just use more " blyad" instead of "факкк"
Next time
Your drives are too high. 6 inches above the net or lower. Otherwise slow the drive down for accuracy. Your game plan will work at the 3.5 level.
We’ll make sure to lower those drives next time
3:33 "whatever" LOL
4:36
13:14 bitcoin
“Bitcoin” is definitely where it all went to shit
I had the same problems with the stupid sport. Pickleball is for people who suck in tennis.
Lol
Typical tennis bangers
Legend Ty for support
just a matter of time until yall learn to play slow!
We watched it back the other day and we really seem unwell haha
Steven looks a little shaky not gonna lie. Gotta be better
I agree
Thank you
Dude Steven is sooo fucking relatable. This is gold. Keep it up guys.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it
9:32 the point was over when he fell partly into the non-volley zone.
you guys would be good if you just learned some chill. try playing against fit people your age instead of retirees and you'll understand the appeal.
We could definitely use some chill lmao
We could definitely use some chill lmao
You guys are a joke
You must play pickleball haha
