These guys played the July 4th weekend in STL some time ago-like 95ish. It was so great-I think of it every year-wish they would bring bands back that I liked so much. My big brothers had James Gang records and so grew up with the music in the weave of my life. Fabulous to get to see the whole gang-we don't always get second chances-
I missed that one, bummer. One of the most memorable was at Sandstone with a storm rolling in the babd mover back and Joe moved out, the crowd went nuts. I'm aging my self but he was supposed to play a 24 hr concert at Fairy Land Park (long gone) and wouldn't play in the drizzle, he'd lost a friend to electricution on stage because of rain. Rare Earth, and many others did play, the drizzle was the only bummer to an extraordinary high time, early 70s.
