Religion makes you do that. Now I have most my questions answered and even if they won’t amswer anything else, my assumptions are straight up near correct.
As someone who left an abusive and controlling marriage(I was slightly older married at 24, divorced at 30), there are so many red flags here. I had no idea what red flags were at 24, so I really feel for her.

i have not read one positive comment about their marriage. yes, it is their lives, but it seems odd that this many people have a weird feeling about this marriage.
im completely ok with the fact that they wanted a small wedding. but dani has always (from what we can tell) had a good relationship with her sisters and parents. suddenly NONE of them are invited to the wedding, just emmyn's parents. if dani never got along with her parents, thats fine but the fact that emmyn's parents were invited but dani's were not (even though there is nothing wrong with their family as far as we can tell) is a bit suspicious.

I think the weirdest part is that emmyn's mother was willing to organize the 12people wedding knowing that dani's family was not aware of it

it's kinda bizarre thinking about it now, because like Dani has like 10 siblings. so like basically 10 siblings and both parents will fill up the entire wedding venue IF THEY WERE INVITED
I don't think she was trying to alienate the Cimorellis. I think she was just trying to be realistic as was possible with the seating capacity at the time. After all, she was told the venue could only hold about 12 people, and that was the amount of people just from the Calleiros alone; and naturally, since Emmyn's mom was the one organizing the event, she was understandably gonna prioritize HER family 'cause I'm sure they all wanted to be there ro celebrate the occasion. What would you have rather had her initially do -- include one half of the Calleiros and one half of the Cimorellis, and then exclude the other half of both families? 'Cause I'm sure that would've seemed just as devious, if not more devious! Besides, in the end, they made it work for both families, so there's no need to villainize Emmyn's mom

I think that makes it even more sad because it was the night before Dani's big day and they didn't spend it with her and it was also Lisa's big day but they didn't spend it together.
Don't get me wrong I don't blame lisa but if it were me I would let Dani have her day / spotlight and then after the wedding I would reveal / celebrate the engagement.

BouncyTrouncy she didn’t attend Christina’s pregnancy announcement, quit the band and their parents and sisters seem not to approve of Emmyn. They didn’t comment on it or liked the pics on Instagram. Emmyn made his mum organise the wedding with just his parents and none of her family members. He came wearing a beanie, it’s his first relationship and he seems really immature and obsessed with her. They are not even together for a year and they do not address any of the controversy. Dani’s tics got way worse. Ofc it could have different reasons, but it just feels wrong watching them.

To me, based on everything that's been said, her family didn't approve of him and their relationship - for whatever reasons they may have. That basically left Dani with having to choose between the two; her fiance or her family.
I probably wouldn't have picked my family either if they didn't support me.

I think they did not approve bc she changed her religion, she was raised a Catholic but it seems she did not get married in Catholic ceremony, she is probably Protestant, both are Christian but there are differences...I was trying to support the relationship but changing religion bc of some guy? I know we don’t have any right to know about what’s going on, but please address what people are confused about. There so many red flags. 1. Not inviting her family originally. 2. The behaviors everyone is seeing, especially that Dani’s ticks are revealing themselves a little more (sometimes due to stress and anxiety). 3. It’s very obvious that she’s being isolated from her family. It’s all about Emmyn’s family and his mom.
I got married at 19. It’s not about your age. It’s about your husband potentially being dangerous and toxic and everyone who loves you, is very clearly worried about you. Especially your sisters, who have had your back since the day you were born.

I think your looking at this the wrong way. If you really look at the videos they say a lot of things without saying them. For instance she said how stressed she was while trying to please everyone else and how a lot of people weren’t supportive of the marriage. If I was Dani I would do the same thing have a small wedding because it’s about the marriage not trying to impress people (her family) when she says that she was just going to invite Emmyn’s family that speaks volume think about what Emmyn has to go through dealing with a very catholic family that probably isolate him and makes him feel like an outsider and I don’t think it’s all about his family I think that’s their support system now since her family obviously isn’t. Dani made the right choice she has grown up she’s even said she’s not catholic anymore hasn’t been for a year or two she chose her husband and I don’t see anything wrong with that.

We were in love and it was our life and we decided for us. It’s about us not them. Dani is fine. She made her choice for her and not her family. It’s not rebellious.
She says she no longer wants to be a people pleaser, but she does everything her husband wants... She got married young, she decided to walk down the isle with the song he wanted (even though his mom didn’t play it at the end), she left the band, she shares a youtube channel with him, she didn’t do a big wedding because his family said so and she asked HIS mom to plan the wedding having already a lot of sisters and women in her own family 🙄🤦🏻♀️

Side note: I need to throw out how uncomfortable it makes me when he interrupts Dani to rephrase what she’s trying to say to make her look bad. Example... when she was talking about planning the wedding and how she was so stressed out because she knew that there’s a certain expectation or standard when it comes to getting married, especially in large families. She was trying to explain how she’s a huge people pleaser, therefore it was especially stressful for her. He interrupted her to say “yeah well, she wanted a big wedding to impress people”..... that discredits everything she had just spent time trying to explain. That’s not a healthy relationship.

He was basically her STALKER, he even admitted that in one of their videos.. that's where this goes wrong, she wasn't going to invite her family because they weren't approving of the marriage so instead they weren't going to invite any of them (probably because he didn't want them there) this marriage already was doomed from the start, she will probably be divorced in 2-3 years. did her dad even walk her down the aisle? and also she said she doesn't want to sing anymore but on her Instagram she sings solo randomly, I think parents told her sisters to remove her from the group. hmm everything is going wrong with her life.

Us who have experienced this exact situation know what were talking about, but unfortunately theres also a ton of 12 year olds with no experience in dating that are defending this, and instilling the idea that this is okay. That's not it at all. At the time, they had to be realistic with the seating capacity since they were only told they could only fit 'x' amount of people inside the venue. They were getting married, all families should have been included from the get go and friends should have been left out if sits were limited. Cousins, aunts and uncles go next after family. So they should have made sure the household families were present first and if no room for the others, oh well, they can have a small party in the backyard for the ones they couldn’t afford to sit.

I just feel lied to... and that makes me the most distrusting and skeptical about everything they say now... Dani left cimorelli to do graphics design and not be on CZcams and focus more on graphic design and other stuff, but then makes more vlogs twice a week with Emmyn, etc. I just don’t know what to believe, I just want Dani to be safe and happy, but something seems off and I don’t like it.
She literally did most, if not all, of Cimorelli’s album designs and merch... she had a steady career where she was growing her design skills and she easily could’ve tried to branch out by sharing her stuff with others in the field. You need to learn and get experience before jumping into something so permanent. When this relationship is over, she will learn from it and it will be then that she realizes what she needs to be weary of. Yeah, and she was trying to plan EVERYTHING in 6 months at first? That's way more stressful than planning like 1 yr - 1.5yrs out. I have been with my fiance since May 2014, we got engaged in October 2018, and we're not getting married until June 2020. I was 20 when we got engaged and will be 22 when we get married. Even though I already had known and been with Judah for 4 years, I really don't think we were ready for marriage at 20. We're waiting until marriage for sex too, but it isn't that hard to do because we both agreed to that commitment back in 2014. Also, we signed on an apartment in January and he moved in but I won't until we're married in June. I guess my thought is that we've been in like all of the circumstances that they listed for pushing the wedding up... But we solved it by pushing it back instead. Honestly it has been the least stressful process of my whole life because everything was taken care of way in advance, and now I'm just chilling until the day. We're also starting out both with full time well paying jobs because we're graduating from college in May and have been hired by companies already. By waiting to get married we've set ourselves up for a really successful and happy life together, and there's less stress going into it! I feel like they didn't talk to the right people about what they should have done.

Obviously, Dani is seeking some independence. Imagine being home-schooled and then being in a family business since age 9. Although there are some wonderful things about the Cimorelli family, can you imagine how claustrophobic that would be? Not surprised, she seems to be attaching to Emmyn's family which offers new relationships and ideas. The freedom will be good for her. That said, I would not be surprised if she rejoins Cimorelli some day. From a career standpoint, not sure she realizes how good she had it.
There are other ways to become independent that don't involve ISOLATING yourself from your loved ones and ignoring your own decisions and perspectives to focus on your boyfriend's/husband's only. Take Christina for example. She got married too and she wanted to be independent too (specially since she's older), so she moved in with Nick. But that doesn't mean she stopped contact with her family like Dani did, Christina would have NEVER allowed to have her OWN wedding without her family. This is not something Dani is doing, all these impulsive decisions she is taking SCREAM "emm*n" everywhere, and that's the problem here

Not trying to be rude but was your family disappointed in you Dani for rushing your wedding?
I’m 19 and married, I actually got engaged last year in January (I was 18) and got married in April. I love my husband so much and I’m so blessed to be with him. I know it was Gods will for us to be together. But anyways guys don’t be discouraged by the negative comments. God bless you both! ❤️
the “negative comments” are just people who are concerned for her. i’m glad your relationship is going well but there are a lot of red flags with these two and people are just worried.

i don’t think emmyn is a “control freak” as such he gives off an autistic vibe ( no hate im diagnosed autistic) so he could tend to be quite needy and dependant just a thought 🤷🏽♂️
Squedge if you really are autistic you’d understand how damaging it is to write this kind of comment. Some people don’t think before they speak, I have an autistic son it’s a neurological condition that affects everything. It’s not a personality or a vibe people give off. You should delete your comment.
Caitlin Andrews autism is a neurological condition and I don’t know what you have but my son can not speak or communicate his basic needs. So this “autistic vibe” does not speak true to that at all. A persons disability is not a vibe. Additionally, the whole comment section isn’t being nice about this guy (who doesn’t deserve judgement) but to then say I have the answer: all these bad vibes we are getting, it’s just an autistic vibe. It’s why so many autistic people especially children are bullied. It makes me sick. It is comments like those that normalise the dehumanising of others.

I think people forget that both Dani and Emmyn are REAL humans with Real feelings
And also that they're adults and in charge of their own lives. If they both wanted to do this, there are reasons for it. We don't need to know anything, but they're happy and that's wonderful.

I came back to this video a year later. It makes me so sad all of the awful comments about Emmyn. I can’t comprehend why you guys can’t just be happy for them. It makes me sick. I hope that Dani and Emmyn don’t let this get to them because they seem genuinely happy. I love you Dani and Emmyn and I love watching y’all
Hubby and I married at 19, we had a small wedding in my parents backyard, and are still as.happy 14 years and 8 kids later! Best wishes and many blessings guys!
