What are your thoughts on Lumina Lance? Playing this would sometimes extend to attacking 4 times a turn, but this needs better nourishment for the soul. And of course I now really like the Figment of Rebirth combo when you play a Herald of Erudition (HoE) an get one HoE in your graveyard back into your hand. Best case would then be the lumina lance and enough souls. And I also think, that the Dromai match up gets better, I really like the idea that you can interrupt a whole oppent‘s turn by cracking Halo of Illumination and get your Figment of Ravges to deal arcane damage to an attacking Aether Ashwing or Vynserakai
Lumina Lance is a very strong card, but the cost of banishing cards from soul is very steep - I don’t think I ever fall have the 2-3 spare soul to make it worth it The Dromai matchup for sure feels winnable now, which is super exciting. Not favored, but actually winnable, which is a big step up compared to LCF. The figment of ravages trick is such a blowout
Have you thought about putting 3 red Illuminates in? The deck seems soul hungry enough that a 4 power, block 3, and costs 0 that has an on hit that further inflates our soul is pretty solid. Its also good for when we have one of those turns where you just have to block everything and since Illuminate just says "hits" we can bring in into the Dromai matchup to kill a good number of dragons and still get the soul without having to overkill one with the herald.
Yep! Red illuminate is very very high on my shortlist of cards to try, I think there’s a very strong argument to play it over red Ravages. In addition to all the points you mentioned, I also like that it doesn’t have phantasm. One card to kill a dragon and get soul is a really good point though, I hadn’t made that connection about the Dromai matchup yet
I haven’t put it in my lists personally. I think with wave of reality, figment of protection, and 9 Herald of protection, you can make an argument that it’s kind of consistent enough to get it into the arena, but costing 2 just to invoke without even attacking feels like it’s more clunky than good
@@onhiteffect ya I saw that. Really eats her viability. She already wasn't the greatest in LL and now lost many of her power cards just to slow down starvo. Don't think it was the right call but under their current system, I think that's all they could do really
I’m still trying to figure that out exactly - primarily just the slow matchups that don’t go wide like Bravo. But the real answer is I think it’s kind of an underwhelming card and will probably be cut - in which case, it comes in against no one haha

Me too… might have to do some LL Iyslander stuff at some point, but with Hypo and CLF restricted I’m really worried about her viability in the format
