Imagine this song being sung by 100M saints in glory. Now, that will be heaven.
Robert Clark I can't wait. I think of that often. The sound will be absolutely glorious in every way.
Our Creator God - who designed into us the desire to sing, "to make a joyful noise to the Lord", who gave us voices, harmony, to "sing and make melody in our hearts", who gave us "ears to hear", and a wonderful desire for communion with him and his Son, a desire for community with each other, with his Word and promises and Love we offer our everlasting faith and trust in him - God will receive the gifts of his Creation back in full surround sound forever. His creation will glorify His name with joy that never fades with the very voices he gave us!
We don't have to wait for any of those things do we?...surely listening to this, being a part of this body of believers in the Creator God, who join hearts and voice to magnify the name of Jesus are all around us if we will only seek his Name and give our hearts to him.
I hope this music 'plucks at your heartstrings' - drawing you closer to the Almighty Sovereign Lord.

Our music is bounded by the limitations of three-dimensional space/time, but there will be no such limitations There. We experience music with the sense of hearing, but I strongly suspect that when we're There, music will be a total experience. Truly, eye has not seen, nor ear heard .... It will be glorious, and we don't even know what "glorious" means. Hope to see YOU there! Soon, my dear friends, we are going to see OUR King.

I used to love this song unreservedly, and then I started to feel mesmerised singing the “let me walk upon the water “ etc, like I was zoning out into something weird. A bit hypnotic. It does go on rather.... I’m just a little wary of music that changes your state of mind? But this version was syncopated and choppy and you’d have to concentrate to sing it accurately, which would keep me grounded.
