Above & Beyond made history this weekend, becoming the first British and Finnish DJs to headline and sell out New York's iconic Madison Square Garden. Jono, Tony and Paavo crowned a momentous night by debuting a raft of exclusive material from their forthcoming album "We Are All We Need"; with the gig streamed live to fans all over the world and reaching the number one global trending topic on Twitter.
With fans flying in from all corners of the globe, decked in homemade Group Therapy-themed banners and clothing, the MSG event confirmed Above & Beyond's status as the most fanatically followed act in the electronic music sphere. I still come back to this set again and again and again. The people who were there in person got to experience something truly special. I don't want to downplay A&B's other ABGT concerts because they are all epic, but this one just seems like it was extra special.

I hope you guys do a worldtour :D I cried and had goosebumps watching this :) ABGT isnt a rave, it isnt a party or a concert it's a lifetime experience that you will remember for a very long time
Go check out their tour dates. Above & Beyond tour all the time. Events like this in Madison Square garden don't come often of course but if you want to experience them live not all is lost.
They even visited Norway once which is super rare. I didn't get to see them though :(

Crazy Pug indeed, but i have to say that that's the case in most of the EDM events...ive been on ultra europe twice and i can tell from expirience that there was nothing but people dancing, hugging, and having fun, no matter the race, faith and culture...it's like you are friends with 100 000 people, and that's the main reason why im crazy for electronic music and events ... altough, A&B does have that special feeling of unity and love.

I was blown away by A&B this summer (2015) at Red Rocks. After the show they dropped in (unannounced) late-night and played for 2+ hours at a small warehouse in Denver. Best night ever!

I kinda grew out of my pure trance phase in the late 90s… but there’s something about this set that just slays. I really think they are keeping the torch of trace alive.
The beats are hitting me right in the feels - emotional and powerful!
So happy I had the privilege of seeing them twice for their We are All We Need tour. In LA in February and in SF in March. None of those shows were "better" than the other in any way. They ALWAYS play an amazing show and they never disappoint. The feels from seeing them live are out of this world. I love Above & Beyond.

I'm about to turn 40.....I have a 2 yr old daughter that I love, I've had a few business set backs, life has been really challenging the last few years, and my relationship has challenges too. I miss the days of travelling, being care free and going to events like this and getting absolutely blazed. Enjoy the party while you can folks.........normal life can be a bit of a let down and you really have to work hard at it, people can be totally fucked. You will always look back at your party life with great happiness. Sometimes I think it sets us up for disappointment later in life because we'll never have the drugs and good times again.
Never giving up mate, just saying the party life is much better than getting down to real business. It can be a bit hard at times and you really need to work at it. The odd blowout here and there certainly helps keep things in perspective.
Bob Smith the experiences I've had at party's has really showed how cool the world could be if everyone put aside their differences and truly cared about other people. I'm 41 and wouldn't trade those experiences for anything, what mind expanding times!!
Totally agree Martin. Humans will always have differences, it how we treat each other while we have those differences that defines us. Sadly I think the only way humans will stop being fuckwits to each other is when our lives are being threatened collectively....OR....we make smoking weed mandatory. I prefer the weed solution personally :-)
Hey at least you HAD those times. I'm in my mid thirties, unemployed, barely have enough to eat, i'm sick and can't afford treatment and i've never really lived in all those years i'm on this planet. I see your point, but i'd also remind you that you've been there. You have those experiences. You have a job. You have food. You have a relationship. I know it's always easy to look at the things you wish you had and be sad that they aren't there. It's much harder to look at what you got and be as happy with what you already have. But maybe you can try and add a bit of joy to your life like that. I wish you all the best. May you find more happiness in life.. wherever it may come from :)
@EarlGrey, hey I'm not complaining! My life is good and about to get much better. My point being that drugs and disco takes you away to another universe which is nothing like the real world. The real world can be hard to adjust to after you've spent your 20's partying. That all I was trying to say. Good luck!

I have been infatuated with Above & Beyond's music since I heard them 6 years ago. I was so disappointed when I couldn't come for #abgt100 in MSG. Nevertheless, I have to admit tears were literally rolling down my eyes right now as I watched them perform their new single "We're All We Need" in this video. I honestly don't even know what's going to happen to me when I attend one you guys' live shows. I have never experienced so much euphoria from solely listening to music. Your music gave me motivation to complete undergrad and will continue to give me motivation throughout chiropractic school. I love you Above & Beyond...
