So, no washers under the stainless bolts on the right?
I don’t really understand how any of these brackets help support any more weight, Other than just placing a layer of metal outside the area in the center to keep the nuts from pulling through the factory sheet metal. If that’s the purpose, then why the part extended to the hinges? That part isn’t supporting any of the weight, especially since it’s just sitting on the slim face of the factory hinges.

The machined washers are clearly visible at 5:52...they are taped in place. These tailgates are made out of thin sheet metal and our bracket helps alleviate that pressure from oversized tires. Have you seen a crinkled tailgate before?
