Welcome to Seabrook, a suburban town preoccupied with uniformity, traditions and pep rallies...until one groundbreaking semester when students from Zombietown integrate into Seabrook High School. As the human and zombie students struggle to coexist, a budding friendship between a cheerleader named Addison (Meg Donnelly) and a zombie named Zed (Milo Manheim) could unite their high school and community for good.
On a completely nother note Missy’s obsession with different species now makes sense. She was scared of monsters because she’s an Alien and had always grew up thinking that different people wouldn’t be accepted.
Now she's strong enough to handle it all.
Exactly. She was also told by her mother (Scout Commander) to hide her identity on Earth. Alot of people think this is a plothole, but it really isn't. It's poetic.
But even after seeing if you're willing to open your heart what makes you different doesn't matter so much as what you have in common and sure life isn't going to be smooth sailing but she should started after the werewolves join the town.

So we finally get the scene that we were robbed of in the first place? For those who don’t know Meg Donnelly stated in an interview when the first movie came out that Addison’s hair comes from her mom. During Addison’s song Stand when Addison took her wig off, Missy also took her wig off in support of her daughter. But they cut it 😫

Luckily people also embraced the zombies so her parents embraced Addison, though things were actually pretty tense between them as we've seen in "I Gotta Find Where I Belong"
@@kubat4925 Weirdly enough the way her mom acted I could totally see that. However we need a Zombies 4 because Bucky an Alien too. In the first movie he reminds Addison about their Grandpa Eli. If they share Grandpa Eli that means they share Grandma Angie. And Grandma Angie is the alien. Somebody gotta show Bucky’s true nature we wanna see it
@@shayoneal8885 Haven't watched the movie yet but was Eli the one who got his ear ate off (assuming he's Angie's husband). I always figured that Bucky is Addison's causing from paternal side of family so he would be still human (I also figured the grandpa with who got bitten was also from paternal side of family which makes sense why Addison's father works in Z-patrol)
Awwww when I first watched this scene I was amazed by how Dale reacted and how Missy revealed her true self yet it all makes sense on why missy acted this way towards zombies and werewolves! She was worried she would be discovered and treated differently!

According to the movie, aliens are a harmonious people. So, I think missys mother, Addisons grandmother, probably raised missy with the same principles of sameness and harmony that A-lan, A-li and A-spen keep talking about. How being different causes conflict and stuff, so they learned to suppress that part of themselves to fit into their new community. The new community being humans, and they did that through joining cheer because thats what seabrookians value the most. Just like how addison thought joining cheer squad = fitting in, and then she wouldn't have to worry about fitting in as long as she kept her hair a secret because by keeping it secret and appearing the same as everyone else, she kept harmony with other humans.
It also explains why missy was so extreme (remember how stressed she was, the beginning scene at their breakfast table in zombies 1?) about addison joining the cheer squad, because that would be like passing a seabrookian confirmation test, proving she does fit into the community. One more cover to hide her true identity, making her appear normal to the public eye.
Just as being a cheer leader was addison cover, becoming mayor of seabrook must have been missys cover for herself. It gave her more control over other people and made it possible for her to keep her family safe.
Missy should have showed her hair a long time ago, then Addison wouldn't have been questioning herself all those years. I think the grandma wanted them to hide themselves because she was afraid her, Missy and Addison would be taken away and experimented on which is totally understandable. Still if Addison knew a long time ago, she would have been happier and maybe she would have told her friends when the time was right. Maybe Addison can be a comforter to someone who is having a hard time finding their place since she knows what its like to not fit in
It was cut out from the first movie. During the song Stand when Addison whipped off her wig, her mother did too.

I feel like if this were a tv show, this scene would have played out so much differently. Addison should have been angry at her mom for letting her live her life thinking she was the freak in the family. But its a movie and they were nearing the end, so no time for Addison to get mad at her mom for lying to her.

Probably. I suspect before this specific scene, but after Addison revealed to everyone in public she's part alien, Addison's parents had a talk with each other. (They probably decided during that conversation to show Addison her mother's hair.) That's probably why he's so calm and accepting here--he's gotten past the initial shock and feelings of betrayal, and right now he's focusing on how he doesn't want to be light-years away from his daughter.

After they showed Missy taking off her wig my first thought was that if Addison was beamed up to the mothership due to her DNA, why wasn't Missy as well as Bucky? Since Addison and Bucky share a Grandmother, then Bucky should also have the same genes, and I'm guessing his mother must be Missy's sister. I was thinking that maybe Addison's interactions with the Moonstone necklace and the giant moonstone, in general, must play a part in her being basically "the chosen one" out of her family.
All in all, I absolutely adored this film, and the music and dance scores. As someone that grew up with Disney Zombies, this was a spectacular way to finish off the trilogy.

I can’t believe it took until ZOMBIES 3 to see Addison’s mom admit that she had white hair, too! It was obvious to me that she was wearing a cheap wig in the FIRST ZOMBIES! Therefore, I figured, if Addison had white hair, then she probably inherited it from her mother! 🤦🏿♀️ SMH

I loved this movie so much I can't believe there are people who didn't like it and said this was cringe I meant what is there not to like with a movie that has an cute lead actor, upbeat and catchy songs, and a romantic story line with some non humans here?! Like people if you don't like it fine it is your loss but keep your comments out of the comment section of this awesome movie that was a great final movie to wrap up one of the best franchise ever made here!

Being cute is not enough to make a movie, Addison is a victim complex’s and an inspirational instagram meme come to life and it’s unappealing to watch. Her attitude towards everything is like a kid being offered candy by a dude in a van because she has no self awareness whatsoever in the 2nd and 3rd movie, Addison and Zed’s relationship is extremely vanilla and is no longer cute with a lot of bad dialogue mixed in there, and the 3 minute music videos take way too much from the ‘story’ they’re trying to tell. You really should try being more critical of certain media because there are definitely better things out there to watch and consume that do the message way better than zombies 1-3.

I said it also had great plot and songs and the romance plot was great here! And to me in order to catchy my eye a lot the main guy character has to be cute otherwise I lose interest fast here! But anyways I still stand by what I said here!
@@mayagabs8403 I only listen to mainstream pop songs so the more upbeat and catchy songs the more I like here! I can't stand soft songs so my only complaint of the movie is while the reprise was great it was way too soft here!
I personally didn't like this movie side to side with the first two, the songs were good but the movie started to focus more on Addison more then the actual zombies characters. Like I feel like this movie should have focused more on Zed's story and his past. Instead they just wasted his character and made it all about Addison and her white hair. What annoyed me is Zed was there for her and she was always complaining and stating that she felt alone (even though she wasn't). Again, very disappointed with this movie.

She probably felt threatened by the monsters, kind of like how Zed felt threatened by the werewolves when they first came in. It's not good but it's common. She was probably thinking something like, "I hide how I'm an outsider and I assimilate perfectly, but how can I be sure these other groups will do the same? And if people treat them poorly, what if they treat me poorly if they find out I'm different?" Again, it's not good, but it's common.

Yeah don’t even try to make sense of the timeline! Bucky was already at school as the established star cheer captain when Addison and Zed started, yet is still school president when they graduate… I love these movies and don’t mind that logical plotting is not on their priority list
